This game will be played at Allegiant Stadium at 4:05 PM ET on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
Why Bet the 49ers:
✅ San Francisco hasn’t missed a beat offensively with Brock Purdy under center. They have scored 30 or more points in three straight games with him at quarterback, and they will continue to deliver here.
✅ Defensively, the Niners are the best team in the league as well. They are number one in scoring defense and total defense, and that will remain the case after they shut down the Raiders on Sunday.
✅ San Francisco is tied for the third-best record in the league against the spread this year. They are 10-5 against the number, and they will get another win both straight up and against the spread in this contest.

San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers blew out the Washington Commanders last week, claiming their eighth straight victory and moving to within two games of the top spot in the NFC. It is unlikely that the Eagles will lose both of their remaining games to give the Niners a chance to claim the number one seed. But if the Niners keep winning, they have a chance to lock up a top-two seed over these final two weeks.
San Francisco has emerged as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl, and their defense has been a huge reason as to why. They have the top scoring defense in the NFL, and the pressure they are getting on opposing quarterbacks has been palpable. If they can pressure Derek Carr in this contest, the Niners could get a ninth straight win.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are still alive in the AFC playoff chase, but only barely. They are 6-9 on the year after losing last week to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night. They now need to win out and get plenty of help to make the playoffs, starting with a win here over the Niners.
For the Raiders, the question in this game is going to be whether they can find ways to get Davante Adams the ball against the league’s best defense. San Francisco has taken away some of the best receivers in the sport in recent weeks, including the Dolphins’ duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and Mike Evans of the Buccaneers. The Raiders may have to get creative to avoid Adams joining that list.
