Inside the Fliff App (Mobile Screenshots)

How Does Fliff Sports Betting Work?
Fliff doesn’t work the same way as a traditional sportsbook app (you know, like DraftKings or FanDuel). Instead of offering real-money gambling, it uses a promotional sweepstakes model.
That means you’re not placing bets with cash… you’re making sports picks with two types of virtual currency (or “virtual money,” whatever you want to call it): Fliff Coins and Fliff Cash.
Fliff Coins vs Fliff Cash
Here’s how each one works:
- Fliff Coins: These are the “just for fun” coins. If you’ve ever played at a sweepstakes casino, they’re basically the same thing as “Gold Coins.” You can use them to make as many sports picks as you want, but you can’t redeem them for real money (no matter how many you get right). They’re mainly there for entertainment and testing out the app.
- Fliff Cash: This is the currency that matters for sweepstakes prizes. It works just like “Sweeps Coins” at sweepstakes casinos. When you make a correct pick with Fliff Cash, you can redeem your winnings directly to your bank account as a cash prize. And the conversion rate is pretty simple: $1.00 in Fliff Cash = $1.00 in U.S. currency.
You can switch back and forth between these two currencies inside the app at any time, going from the casual “for fun” picks to picks that give you a shot at winning cash prizes. However, just to be clear, you can’t ever turn Fliff Coins into Fliff Cash. The two types of virtual tokens aren’t interchangeable.
*Note: Fliff Superstars (now integrated into the app) works a bit differently. It uses a peer-to-peer Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) contest format, and you actually play with real money (USD) here, not Fliff Coins or Fliff Cash. We’ll talk about this a bit more later on.

Ongoing Promotions and Free Credits
Fliff also offers promotional credits to existing users through several recurring features:

- Hourly Coin Rewards: Fliff Coins are periodically available through the in-app shop on a timed basis.
- Cash Quests: Optional third-party tasks may award Fliff Cash upon completion, subject to verification and availability.
- Odds Boosts: Select markets may feature adjusted odds, which are listed within the app when available.
All ongoing promotions are optional and governed by individual terms, including balance limits and redemption requirements.
Fliff XP and Loyalty Rewards
Fliff operates an experience points (XP) system tied to activity. XP can be earned through sportsbook picks using Fliff Coins, SuperStars DFS entries, daily challenges, and qualified referral activity. Accrual rates and caps apply.
- Sportsbook Picks
- Earn 1 XP for every 1,000 Fliff Coins staked the first time those coins are used on a pick.
- SuperStars Entries
- Get 1 XP for every $1.00 you enter into a SuperStars DFS contest.
- Daily Challenges
- Complete daily tasks and earn 2 XP for each challenge.
- Inviting Friends
- Earn 200 XP for every $1 your friend spends on Fliff (up to 10,000 XP per friend).
Then, once you save up enough XP, you can redeem it for some awesome rewards:
- SuperStars Cash
- Instantly convert your XP to USD at a rate of 100 XP = $1.00.
- Fliff Coins
- Use your XP balance to claim more Fliff Coins whenever you want.
- Gift Cards
- Redeem XP for gift cards from popular brands like Chipotle, Grubhub, Domino’s, Airbnb, and more.

Fliff Sportsbook Banking Options – 4/5 Rating
Banking at social betting apps like Fliff works a little differently than it does at traditional online sportsbooks. You’re not making real-money deposits or withdrawals in the usual sense.
Instead, you can purchase Fliff Coins, and every dollar you spend comes with 1.00 Fliff Cash as an added bonus. Then, any Fliff Cash winnings you earn can be redeemed for real cash prizes.
The good news is that the payment methods at Fliff are mostly the same ones you’d find at other apps… just with fewer options overall (no PayPal or Venmo, for example). But here’s a quick look at what Fliff currently supports.

Deposits
| Payment Method 💳 | Min. Purchase ⬇️ |
|---|---|
| Instant Bank Transfer | $1.99 |
| Debit/Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) | $1.99 |
| Apple Pay | $1.99 |

Withdrawals
| Redemption Method 🎁 | Min. Redemption ⬇️ | Max. Redemption ⬆️ |
|---|---|---|
| Push-to-Debit (Visa Cards Only) | $50 | $5,000 |
| Instant Bank Transfer | $50 | $5,000 |
| Standard Bank Transfer | $50 | $5,000 |
| Skrill | $50 | $5,000 |
*Note: Fliff SuperStars, the app’s peer-to-peer DFS contest format, does allow real-money deposits and withdrawals. You can add or remove funds directly from your Superstars account at any time using the same banking methods listed above. The same $50 minimum withdrawal applies here as well.
Also, if you want more details on the payment side of things, we put together a full Fliff banking guide you can check out.
Fliff Mobile App & User Experience – 5/5 Rating
The “Fliff – Social Sports Picks” app is free to download from the iOS App Store, and it’s designed specifically for iPhones. In our June 2026 review sessions, the iOS and Android apps were straightforward to navigate, and the core flows (picks, wallet, and account screens) functioned as expected.

There’s also a “Fliff – Sports Picks” app on the Google Play Store for Android, and the experience is basically the same across both platforms.
App Layout & Navigation
Overall, the Fliff mobile app is very easy to use. The layout is pretty simple, everything is where you’d expect it to be, and it doesn’t take long to figure out how things work. There are five main tabs at the bottom of the screen:
- Sports: This is where you’ll make most of your picks. You can scroll through all available social betting markets, view matchups, and check out the Activity feed, which shows betting percentages (how many people are on each side). You can also follow friends or other Fliff users here to see what they’re picking and decide whether you want to tail or fade them.
- My Picks: Shows all of your active and settled wagers in one place.
- Account: This section includes your stats, betting history, recent transactions, and your Wallet, which shows your Fliff Cash, Fliff Coins, XP, and everything else tied to your account.
- Casino: A full list of Fliff’s sweepstakes casino games.
- Shop: This is where you can purchase Fliff Coins and claim your daily login rewards.
You can toggle between Fliff Coins and Fliff Cash at any time by tapping the switch in the top right corner. In the top left, there’s also a quick option to jump over to Fliff SuperStars, their peer-to-peer DFS section.
App Performance & Reliability
As for performance, the Fliff app has been reliable. In our test sessions, we didn’t observe crashes or major lag, including during higher-traffic windows. Performance can vary by device, version, and event load.

Can You Play at Fliff on Desktop?
Unfortunately, no. You really can’t play at Fliff on a laptop or desktop computer right now. We checked the desktop experience during our review and found GetFliff.com functions primarily as an information/download page; gameplay is still designed for mobile app or mobile browser.
It gives you the rundown on what Fliff is and then pretty much sends you straight to the App Store or Google Play to download the app.

Fliff does have a “web app” now, but it only works if you open it on your phone’s browser. I tried it just to see how it looked, and it works fine on mobile. But if you pull it up on a laptop, it basically doesn’t function.
So yeah, it’s an option on your phone or tablet, but desktop still doesn’t let you actually play anything.
Fliff Sports Betting Options – 4/5 Rating
Wondering what you can actually make picks on at Fliff? This section walks through everything the app offers from a sports-betting standpoint: the leagues they cover, the wager types, and what you can expect once you start scrolling through all the markets.
Sports Markets Covered
Fliff lets you predict outcomes across a wide range of leagues, including both major sports (football, basketball, baseball, hockey) and even niche sports like lacrosse. The menu isn’t quite as big as what you’d see at a real-money sportsbook, but it still covers just about everything most people care about.
Here’s a full list of the sports and leagues that were available when I wrote this Fliff review:
| Sport | Leagues |
|---|---|
| 🏀 Basketball | NBA, NCAAB, Liga ACB, LNB Pro A, LEB Oro |
| 🏈 Football | NFL, USFL, XFL, NCAAF |
| ⚾ Baseball | MLB, NPB, KBO |
| 🏒 Hockey | NHL |
| ⚽ Soccer | MLS, EPL, LaLiga, Liga MX, UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga, Serie A, & More |
| ⛳ Golf | PGA, LIV |
| 🎾 Tennis | ATP, WTA |
| 🥊 MMA & Boxing | UFC, WBA |
| 🥍 Lacrosse | NCAA |
Types of Wagers Offered
When it comes to the types of bets you can make, Fliff has pretty much everything you’d expect. You can pick from:
- Moneylines
- Point Spreads
- Totals
- Player Props
- Game Props
- Team Props
- Parlays
- Same-Game Parlays
- Alternate Spreads
- Alternate Totals
The only things I couldn’t find were teasers and futures, which was a little disappointing. Still, there are plenty of bet types here, and most users shouldn’t have any trouble finding an option that works for them.
Live Betting
Also, Fliff offers a pretty solid live betting experience. Any sporting events that are going on right now can be found under the “In Play” section, and there’s usually a decent amount of options to choose from once you tap into a game.
One thing that’s missing, though, is a live game tracker or some sort of real-time stats page. Live streaming would be a nice addition too. But even without those features, the Fliff Sportsbook app still does a good job with its in-game wagering options.

Odds Pricing
In the sports gambling industry, the average house edge (or vig) on most bets sits right around 4.5%. That’s usually reflected by -110 vs -110 on either side of a point spread or total, and it’s what you’ll see at most online sportsbooks.
At Fliff, though, there’s usually a little more juice on the odds. The house edge tends to be closer to 5.5%, which you’ll notice in lines like -115 vs -110, -120 vs -105, and so on.
It may not seem like a huge difference, but over the long run, those pricing changes can really add up and affect your chances of being profitable.
Fliff Superstars
As I’ve mentioned a few times already, Fliff isn’t just a social sportsbook anymore. They recently added Fliff Superstars, which is a peer-to-peer, real-money Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) contest format.
The setup is pretty similar to the Pick’em contests you’ll find on apps like PrizePicks. You’re basically trying to predict whether certain players will go over or under their stat projections in major leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and even college football.

You can build two types of entries:
- Max Plays: You have to get all of your picks right to win, but the payouts are higher.
- Flex Plays: You can miss one (or sometimes more) and still get a reduced payout, depending on how many picks you included.
It’s a nice add-on to the main Fliff experience, especially if you enjoy DFS-style player props and want something you can play with real money instead of Fliff Coins or Fliff Cash.
Safety, Security, & Fairness – 5/5 Rating
This next section of my Fliff review will focus on security, legitimacy, fairness, all that good stuff. If you’re thinking about signing up for the Fliff sports betting app (and wondering if it’s a platform you can trust), here’s what you need to know.
Is Fliff Legit?
Fliff presents itself as a sweepstakes-based sports picks platform (not a regulated sportsbook) and publishes eligibility, prize, and redemption rules that users can review before participating. For example, they:
- Let you make picks on all your favorite sports and leagues.
- Use a sweepstakes model instead of offering real-money gambling.
- Don’t require a purchase or payment of any kind to play.
- According to Fliff’s published Sweepstakes Rules, eligible Fliff Cash balances can be redeemed for cash prizes once requirements are met and the account completes any necessary verification.
- Fliff states it uses standard account security and verification measures. As with any app, users should enable device-level security, use unique passwords, and review the platform’s privacy policy before sharing sensitive information.
- Follow all the legal guidelines in the states where they operate (more on that in a minute).
- Clearly lay out their rules on the Fliff website (Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Fliff Cash Sweepstakes Rules, Sports Prediction Rules, Fliff SuperStars Contest Rules, etc.).
Is Fliff Licensed & Regulated?
The only downside here is that Fliff isn’t licensed or regulated by any U.S. state gaming authority. But to be clear, that’s completely normal for this type of platform. Social betting sites and sweepstakes casino apps don’t offer real-money wagering, so they aren’t required to hold gaming licenses.
Instead, Fliff just has to follow all the sweepstakes laws in the states where they accept players… and that’s exactly what they do.
Is Fliff Legal in Your State?

Fliff’s promotional sweepstakes contests are banned in 18 U.S. states (listed in the table above) based on their official Sweepstakes Rules. In those states, you can still make picks for fun using Fliff Coins, but you can’t use Fliff Cash, and you can’t redeem any real-world prizes.
Fliff Customer Support – 4/5 Rating
Fliff does a solid job when it comes to customer support. Here are all the different ways you can get help right now:
| Support Option | Details |
|---|---|
| 🎫 Submit a Ticket: | You can do this in the app or on the website. Enter your email, choose a subject, and explain your question/problem. |
| 📧 Email: | Reach them at support@getfliff.com. |
| 🐦 Twitter/X: | Their handle is @FliffSupport. |
| ❓ Help Center: | Click here to find answers to common questions. |
As part of our review, we submitted a support ticket and recorded the response time. Response speed may vary by issue type and support volume. They emailed me back about 2-3 hours later, and the agent was friendly and actually helpful. The only real downside is that there isn’t a faster way to get in touch. A live chat or phone line would be great to see at some point in the future.
Does Fliff Sportsbook Have Casino Games?
I’ve mentioned this once or twice already, but Fliff isn’t just a social sportsbook anymore. It’s also a social casino. The Fliff app now includes eight online casino games you can play anytime:
- Blackjack
- Crash
- Roulette
- Plinko
- Mines
- Hi-Lo
- Dice
- Gridiron Gold
Sidepot Casino (by Fliff)
Fliff, Inc. (the same company behind Fliff Sportsbook) also launched a new social casino site (called “Sidepot by Fliff”) at Sidepot.us. It’s a much bigger casino platform, with 1,000+ slots from top providers like Evoplay, Hacksaw Gaming, Playson, Booming Games, 3 Oaks, and a bunch of others.

Sidepot Casino also has over half a dozen “Sidepot Originals,” including:
- Wheel of Fortune
- Limbo
- Chart Betting
- When Moon Bro
Just like Fliff, Sidepot runs on a sweepstakes model, so you can play for free and still have a chance to win real cash prizes. And yes, it comes with a 100% free no-deposit bonus for new players.
If you want more details, you can check out our full Sidepot Casino review.

How to Create a Fliff Account
Here are the 5 steps you need to follow in order to get started with Fliff sports betting.
Step 1: Download the Fliff Sports Picks App
Download Fliff to your iOS or Android device. It is completely free and takes only a couple seconds.
Step 2: Fill Out the Registration Form
Once installed, you’ll need to fill out the registration form within the app. This will include providing some basic information such as your name, email address, state of residence, date of birth, etc.
Step 3: Verify Your Information
You will then be required to verify your email address and phone number. You may also be asked to upload a quick picture of your driver’s license or another type of photo ID in order for them to be able to confirm that it is really you.
Step 4: Make Sports Predictions & Redeem Cash Prizes
Once that’s complete, you can start making picks and adding some selections to your bet slip. And when you have enough in your Fliff account, you can redeem Fliff Cash for real cash prizes at a 1:1 rate.
Authors Take

– Peyton Powell (Sportsbook & Casino Editor at ATS.io)“Fliff operates as a legitimate sweepstakes-based platform, not a traditional sportsbook. It allows users to make sports picks using virtual credits, with the ability to redeem eligible winnings for cash prizes once requirements are met.
Players from states such as Texas, and Georgia, where regulated online sports betting is not currently available will enjoy this as a viable alternative. Fliff also includes additional features like fantasy-style contests and casino-style games within the same app, along with recurring promotional credits and a points-based rewards system that can be redeemed for certain prizes.
As with any sweepstakes platform, participation is subject to published rules, eligibility criteria, and state-level restrictions.”
Fliff Review FAQs
Fliff Sportsbook uses two types of virtual currency: Fliff Coins and Fliff Cash. Fliff Coins are mainly for fun and don’t carry any cash value. Fliff Cash, on the other hand, works just like Sweepstakes Coins at social casinos. When you make correct picks with it, you can redeem prizes at a straight 1:1 rate (1.00 Fliff Cash = $1.00 in real cash).
All U.S. states except for Idaho and Washington. That’s because Fliff operates as a social betting app, where you use virtual currency (not actual money) to make sports picks.
Fliff’s updated welcome offer includes two promotions for new users. Eligible players can receive a Spend $5, Get $50 in free play offer, along with a 100% match bonus up to $100 on their first purchase.
