What Is Plus500?
Plus500 is a global financial trading company founded in 2008. Its U.S. futures business operates through Plus500US Financial Services LLC, a Futures Commission Merchant registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and a member of the National Futures Association under NFA ID 0001398.
In February 2026, Plus500 introduced prediction markets to its U.S. trading platform, giving customers access to event contracts listed on Kalshi. The company expanded that offering in June 2026 to include sports prediction markets.
Kalshi supplies the underlying event contracts, while Plus500 acts as the broker through which customers can access them.
Prediction markets allow users to trade contracts based on real-world outcomes, including sports, politics, economics and other events. Contracts are quoted in cents, with prices broadly reflecting the market's implied probability of an outcome. Winning contracts settle at $1, while losing contracts settle at $0.
Plus500's main advantage is that customers can access traditional futures and prediction markets through the same trading account. Its published prediction-market trading charges include a 1¢ brokerage commission plus a 1¢ exchange fee per contract per transaction.
