Today's Top CFL Pick

We combine projections from the ATS Quantitative Model with matchup analysis, quarterback play, injuries, travel and current sportsbook odds. We only recommend a wager when the available number still supports the pick.

The CFL uses three downs, a wider field and different timing and scoring rules, which can create a more pass-heavy style of play and different game scripts. Those differences matter when evaluating spreads, totals and player markets.

Very important. The smaller number of teams and greater reliance on the passing game mean a quarterback change can have a major effect on both the matchup and the betting line.

Scoring can be influenced by pace, explosive plays, turnovers, special teams and late-game situations. We look at how those factors interact rather than relying on recent scores alone.

No. With a smaller weekly schedule, it is especially important not to force action. If our projection is too close to the sportsbook line or the price has already moved, we are prepared to pass.

The confidence score shows how strongly our model and handicapping analysis support a particular pick. A higher score indicates stronger agreement between the projection, matchup and available price, but it should not be treated as a guarantee.
