This game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium at 8:15 PM ET on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Why Bet The Chiefs:
✅ The offense of the Chiefs is clearly better than that of the Raiders. But it is the defense of the Chiefs that is the big point of differentiation in this contest. The Chiefs are tied for eighth in the NFL, allowing 5.0 yards per play this season. Las Vegas, meanwhile, is tied for 21st in the league in that department by allowing 5.8 yards per play. The Chiefs defense will keep rolling here against a struggling Raiders team.

✅ The ability for Kansas City to take away the running game of their opponents is going to come in handy against Josh Jacobs and the Raiders. Kansas City ranks first in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, giving up just 65.8 yards per game on the ground. They will continue to stop the run and force Derek Carr to be a predictable passer on third downs.
✅ Speaking of third downs, the Chiefs are vastly superior to the Raiders when it comes to converting third downs. Kansas City is converting 51% of its third downs on the season, while the Raiders are just under 40%. The ability of the Chiefs to continue drives with both the pass and the run will help them separate themselves from the Raiders.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders got their first win of the 2022 NFL season last week, beating the Denver Broncos at home to move to 1-3. Las Vegas eviscerated the Broncos on the ground, with Josh Jacobs racking up 144 rushing yards and two touchdowns. This week, the Raiders are unlikely to have the same level of success running the football, and will likely need to pass the ball more to keep up with the high-powered offense of the Chiefs.
As is the case with any team in the NFL, the top priority of the Raiders in this game is going to be stopping Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ passing attack. Even if the Raiders are at their best offensively, it will not matter if they cannot do a better job on defense than they did against the Chiefs last year. Las Vegas gave up 89 points in two games against the Chiefs last year, and have to be tougher defensively to have a chance here.
Kansas City Chiefs
Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs got a huge win on Sunday Night Football, beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 41-31. That was the second 40-point game for the Chiefs in just four weeks, with the Chiefs racking up over 400 yards of offense against a Bucs team that had allowed under 30 points in their first three games of the year combined.
This week, the Chiefs will look to keep things rolling offensively, but they will need to stop the run to do so. Stopping Josh Jacobs with the league’s top run defense through four weeks will prevent the Raiders from running up their time of possession in this contest, which will allow the Chiefs more possessions to win this game by a wide margin.
