This game will be played at SoFi Stadium at 8:15 PM ET on Monday, October 17, 2022.
Why Bet The Under:
✅ The Denver Broncos have been awful on offense so far this season. They have the second worst scoring offense in the NFL, averaging just 15 points per game on the year. Against a Chargers team with an elite pass rush, the Broncos are unlikely to be much better offensively in this game, which will help the game stay under the total.

✅ While the Broncos have been bad offensively, they have been excellent defensively. They are allowing 16.0 points per game, tied for the fourth best mark in the NFL through five weeks. They face a stern challenge against the Chargers in this contest, but the Broncos should be able to defend well enough to keep this game under as well.
✅ So far this season, the Broncos are 1-4 in the over/under market this season. While there were high expectations for the Broncos offense this year, they simply have not lived up to those expectations. With Javonte Williams set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, things are not likely to get better for the Broncos offensively, which will lead to more unders coming in.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos had their most disappointing outing of the season in Week 5, when they lost in overtime to the Indianapolis Colts at home. Denver led for most of the game and had countless opportunities to put the game away, but severe game mismanagement from Russell Wilson led to those chances being squandered.
This week, the Broncos have a chance to get back to .500 on the season, but they will need to find a way to generate some offense to do that. Pass protection is going to be a huge factor in this game, as the Chargers have one of the best pass rushes in the NFL. With Garrett Bolles on injured reserve, protecting Russell Wilson could be even more difficult than usual for Denver.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers barely held on to beat the Cleveland Browns on the road in Week 5. They finally got their running game going, with Austin Ekeler rushing for 173 yards to propel the Chargers to a 30-28 win. Here, the Chargers will face a much better defense in that of the Broncos, but will also like their chances against a lackluster Broncos offense.
For the Chargers, putting pressure on Russell Wilson will be a key in this game. Wilson has been so mistake prone this season. Getting pressure on him will only exacerbate his struggles so far this season, and the Chargers will aim to do just that in Week 6.
