This game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field at 8:20 PM ET on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Why Bet The Cowboys:
✅ The Dallas Cowboys have the number three scoring defense in the NFL this season, allowing 14.4 points per game. The pressure that they generate on quarterbacks is the driving force of their success so far this year. They will continue to get pressure on quarterbacks here against Jalen Hurts, which will help them cover as an underdog on the road.

✅ If you look at the path the Eagles have taken to their 5-0 start, it is not exactly impressive. They have played just one team that has a winning record so far this season, beating the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 2. This week, the Eagles play the best team they have faced all season, which will not go well for them, at least relative to the point spread.
✅ It is also possible that the Cowboys get Dak Prescott back for this game. The Cowboys have two strong options at the quarterback position this week, as they could either go with Cooper Rush or go back to Prescott. Either way, they should be just fine at quarterback against an Eagles team that has been solid against the pass so far.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys picked up their fourth straight win with Cooper Rush as their starting quarterback this season in Week 5. They beat the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 22-10, with their defense putting forth another masterful performance in that game. This week, the Cowboys defense will need to be at or near its best again, as they face an Eagles team that is flying high offensively this season.
This season, the Cowboys are one of two teams with 20 or more sacks on opposing quarterbacks this year. They have been great at disrupting quarterbacks with that pressure. This will be important against the Eagles as well, but Dallas will need to prevent Hurts from breaking containment as a result of that pressure as well.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles won a close game against the Arizona Cardinals last week to move to 5-0 on the season. They were fortunate to get a missed field goal at the end of regulation in that game to preserve a 20-17 win. This week, the Eagles may need more than luck in order to keep their undefeated record alive against the red-hot Cowboys.
For the Eagles, the ability to run the ball effectively on first and second down will be key to this contest. Doing so will allow them to avoid being predictable with their offense on third down, where the Cowboys pass rush would be able to pin its ears back and get after Jalen Hurts.
