This game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Why Bet The Bills:
✅ The Bills are coming off of their first loss of the season, which is not a good thing. But the Bills were vastly superior to the Dolphins in every area but the final score of that game. They outgained the Dolphins by a 497-212 margin, with the Bills’ failures to score at the end of both halves costing them the victory. Here, no such flukes will take place from a time management perspective, and the Bills will get back to their winning ways.

✅ Buffalo has a huge advantage on defense coming into this game, which they will use to get a win here. Baltimore ranks 31st in the NFL, allowing 6.5 yards per play, while the Bills rank second in that department at 4.1 yards per play allowed. Buffalo’s superior defense will keep the Ravens in check and will help them move to 3-1 on the year.
✅ Heat will not be a factor in this game the way it was in Buffalo’s loss to Miami. The temperature on the field was up around 100 degrees last week, with the Bills having to wear their blue uniforms on the road. This week, they travel back up north to Baltimore, where there will be no threat of triple-digit temperatures and the cramps that came along with that heat for important players like Stefon Diggs.
Buffalo Bills
Last week, the Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss of the 2022 NFL season, falling in Miami to the division rival Dolphins. Buffalo had the upper hand for most of that game, but made a few uncharacteristic mistakes in scoring range that cost them. An underthrown ball at the goal line by Josh Allen on a fourth and goal, and the Bills letting the clock run out at the end of both halves when points were available, will have to be corrected to get a win this week.
Buffalo’s secondary situation will also be an area of interest for bettors going into this matchup. Micah Hyde is on IR, while Tre White, Jordan Poyer, and Dane Jackson are all on the injury report coming into this contest. Whether or not they can get some reinforcements in the defensive backfield will go a long way toward determining how the Bills defense functions here.
Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens got a nice road win in Week 3, beating the New England Patriots to move to 2-1 on the year. Lamar Jackson once again played brilliantly, passing for four touchdowns and rushing for another. Despite the Ravens being outgained by 53 yards by New England, the Ravens forced four turnovers that kept them out in front for the bulk of the contest.
While the Ravens have been brilliant offensively of late, it will be their defense that is tested against the Bills. Baltimore has been giving up chunks of yardage on a regular basis so far this season, and will need to tighten things up against a Bills team that can beat their opponents at all three levels with their passing game.
