Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford will lead their teams into battle against their old teams in the Wild Card Sunday night matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions. This is one of the few games this weekend where weather will not be a factor, which will at least lend a little more certainty to prop betting. Here, we give you the Rams vs Lions props we like the most as a part of our ongoing series of NFL betting picks for Wild Card weekend.

Rams vs Lions Player Prop #1: Kyren Williams Under 17.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
First up on our list of Rams vs Lions props is the under on Kyren Williams’ receiving yardage. Williams has been an incredibly effective rusher for the Rams this season, filling the void left by backs like Cam Akers and Sony Michel. But Williams has not delivered nearly as much in the receiving game for the Rams, a trend we expect to continue on Sunday night.
Williams has gone over this receiving yardage total in five of his 11 games for the Rams this year. But he has not done so since December 3 against the Cleveland Browns, failing to reach this number in four straight games he has played in. Look for Williams to be used almost exclusively on the ground again in this game as the Rams look to establish the run to set up action for their dynamic group of receivers instead.
Rams vs Lions Player Prop #2: LA Rams D/ST Touchdown (+475)
If you are looking for a prop bet with longer odds, you may want to consider backing the Rams to score a touchdown on defense or special teams. We know that Jared Goff is prone to making huge mistakes during his career, both as a member of the Rams and the Lions. It is entirely possible that one of those mistakes comes in the form of a pick-six that helps the Rams in their attempt at an upset bid this weekend.
Bettors should remember that the Rams are much more familiar with Goff than the Lions are with Matt Stafford, despite Stafford having played for Detroit as long as he did. The Rams coaching staff is the same one that coached Goff, while the Lions have an entirely new regime in place than they did when Stafford was there. That does not guarantee that the Rams will make Goff’s night miserable on Sunday, but it makes it more likely than the other way round in our eyes.
