Because of that, we could see Mitch Trubisky back on the field for Pittsburgh this week.
No matter who the quarterback is for the Steelers in this game, the defense and running game of the Steelers will be of vital importance once again. After playing well over the last few weeks, Najee Harris was held in check once again by the Ravens last week. He will need to have another breakout game to help the Steelers stay competitive in this contest.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers got a nice win in Week 14, beating the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Sam Darnold played reasonably well in that game, moving to 2-0 since taking over as the quarterback of this team. Here, Darnold looks for a third straight win, which could help the Panthers move to the top of the NFC South depending on the result of this week’s Buccaneers game.
Darnold’s stats were not pretty in Seattle, throwing for just 120 yards. But the most important thing for Darnold is avoiding throwing interceptions. He did just that against the Seahawks, and will need to do so again here against an opportunistic Steelers defense.
