Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Sunday Night Football Betting Pick & Odds

Sunday Night Football brings us a familiar rivalry, and a frequent SNF game, as the 3-3 Philadelphia Eagles travel to Dallas to take on the 3-3 Cowboys. These two bitter rivals will play the 121st installment of this rivalry looking to grab first place in the NFC East.

Below are my two best bets for the Sunday night football battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. All lines are from FanDuel Sportsbook

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys (-2.5): O/U 49.5 points (-125/+105)

The very injured, and up and down, Philadelphia Eagles fell to 3-3 in 2019 with an ugly 38-20 loss in Minnesota last week. The Eagles fought back from a 24-3 deficit to make it close, but ultimately ended up falling by three scores. Philadelphia has still only beaten one team with a winning record this season, a Week 4 win in Green Bay, and have fallen to the Falcons, Lions and Vikings. Philly is 2-4 ATS and the over has hit in four of their six games in 2019.

The Dallas Cowboys continued their recent slide with a very bad 24-22 loss to the previous winless New York Jets. The Cowboys have now lost three games in a row, as they fell to the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints, after wins over the New York Giants and the lowly Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins. Dallas is 3-3 ATS, having not covered three straight games, and the over has hit in four of six games.

Luckily, for both of these 3-3 teams, the NFC East is a terrible division as this Sunday night game is a battle for first place in the division.

Series History: The Dallas Cowboys lead the all-time series 68-52 after winning both games in the 2018 season.

Game Prediction: I like the Eagles to win outright in this one, so I would take money line and, of course, back the Eagles at +2.5.

Over 5.5 total touchdowns scored (-118)

The Eagles are getting a little healthier on defense, but they still cannot stop any real offenses. So far this season Philadelphia has given up 27, 24, 27, 27, 6 and 38 points on defense and they themselves have scored more than 20 points in all six games. The touchdown totals in each of the Eagles first six games are 7, 5, 6, 7, 5, and 7. As for the Dallas Cowboys their defense has given a little better giving up 17, 21, 6, 12, 34 and 24 points on defense and have scored 35, 31, 31, 10, 24, and 22. The combined touchdowns in Cowboys games this season are 7, 7, 4, 1, 8 and 5. All of the numbers above leave me to back over 5.5 touchdowns scored on Sunday night.
