With such a weak NFL Week 8 schedule, the perfect thing to do to make things interesting is to make some interesting prop bets and have some different angles to root for during these games. I pick the Eagles vs Bills and Browns vs Patriots in a separate article, so I will not have any props from either of those games, but there are some interesting props out there for those two games, so still do take a look.
Below are my three best prop bets for the Week 8 action in the NFL. All lines are from FanDuel Sportsbook
Over 31 points for the Los Angeles Rams (-106): Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Rams
All it takes is a game with the Atlanta Falcons to get your offense, and team, feeling good again. The Rams were coming off three straight losses, but went into Atlanta and came away with a much needed 37-10 win. Up next are the 0-7 Cincinnati Bengals who are giving up 26.6 points per game and have an offense that is averaging 2.1 turnovers per game through their first seven games. I like the Rams offense to get at least 28 points on their own and would not be surprised to see the defense get on the scoresheet as well. At -106 I like the value here for the Rams to get over 31 points on Sunday.
Over 6 TDs scored (-110): Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans
Last week Oakland gave up 42 points to the Green Bay Packers and this week they may be playing one of the only other guys in the league who can do what Rodgers done with both his arms and legs. Deshaun Watson and the Houston offense has scored at least 23 points in three straight games and has scored 23 or more in five of their seven games so far. In their seven games this season the Texans games have combined for 7, 2, 6, 2, 11, 7 and 6 touchdowns while the Raiders six games have seen 4, 5, 6, 7, 6 and 10 touchdowns scored. I think this game sees both teams in the 20’s which means I am backing over six touchdowns scored.
