On Thanksgiving day, an NFC East rivalry game will take place at AT&T Stadium. The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants on Monday Night Football earlier this season, and will aim for a season sweep while celebrating the holiday. In our NFL picks for Thursday’s Thanksgiving festivities, we look at Giants vs Cowboys from a betting perspective.
Giants vs Cowboys Betting Pick
This game will be played at AT&T Stadium at 4:30 PM ET on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Why Bet The Under:
✅ These teams combined for 39 points in their first meeting, with the Cowboys beating the Giants 23-16. The Giants ran the ball well in that game, but still struggled to put points on the board, and they will struggle to score again here.
✅ Dallas has the number one scoring defense in the NFL so far this season. They have allowed 16.7 points per game on the year thus far, and will hold the Giants in check in this contest.
✅ Both teams have seen the majority of their games go under the total this season thus far. The Cowboys have gone under the total in six of their 10 games, while the Giants have gone under in seven of their 10 contests.

New York Giants
The New York Giants come into Thanksgiving at 7-3 on the season, which is way better than they were expected to perform this season. But they will be disappointed in their performance last week, as they lost at home to the Detroit Lions. New York was not able to get its running game going in that contest, something they will need to do if they want any chance against the Cowboys.
Also concerning for the Giants coming into this game is their defense. They are set to face Dak Prescott for the first time this year, after losing to a Cowboys team playing Cooper Rush at quarterback earlier in the year. That could make things way tougher for the Giants secondary on turkey day.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys put forth one of the best performances of their season last week. They beat up on the Minnesota Vikings, beating them 40-3 on the road. The game was tied 3-3 in the first quarter, until the Cowboys reeled off the final 37 points of the game.
This week, the Cowboys pass rush will like its chances to cause trouble for the Giants offense. New York has a somewhat predictable run-first offense, and that can lead to several third and longs, which can lead to pressure from the Dallas defensive line on Daniel Jones. If that is how the game plays out, Dallas’ defense could go a second straight game without allowing a touchdown.
