On Christmas Eve, two offenses that deserve coal in their Christmas stockings will meet on the day before the holiday. Both the New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns have had their issues moving the ball, but one has a golden opportunity to win here. In our NFL best bets for Week 16, we look at Saints vs Browns from Cleveland.
Saints vs Browns Betting Pick
ℹ️ The Pick: | Browns -2.5 |

This game will be played at FirstEnergy Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Why Bet The Browns:
✅ New Orleans has one of the worst road records in the NFL this season. They are 1-5 away from home, and will continue to struggle in games that do not take place in New Orleans with a loss to the Browns.
✅ Cleveland is just 6-8 on the season, but they have gone 4-3 at home on the season. They will get the job done in order to move to 7-8 on the year.
✅ Cleveland has been an abomination offensively for much of this year, but their running game is elite. That will help them to run the football in a way that will cover for the shortcomings of Deshaun Watson and their passing game.

New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints snapped a two-game losing streak last week, getting a much-needed win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. They took advantage of the struggles of Falcons rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder, who failed to throw a touchdown pass against the Saints. Here, the Saints face a more experienced offense, but will look for a similar result to move to 6-9 and stay in the NFC South race.
What has happened to the Saints offense this season has been fascinating. Alvin Kamara has not done much of anything this year, while Michael Thomas was injured all year and the Saints quarterback situation has been nothing short of a mess. But after all of those problems, a win this week would keep them in the playoff hunt, which is miraculous.
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns won a Saturday afternoon game last week, beating the Baltimore Ravens in a low-scoring division showdown. They benefited from multiple missed field goal attempts from the legendary Justin Tucker. But the Browns still have concerns with their offense coming into this contest, as Deshaun Watson has not lived up to their expectations so far.
Look for the Browns to continue to rely on their running game to mask the issues with their aerial attack. The Browns rank fifth in the NFL in rushing, averaging 149 yards per game on the ground. If they can continue to have success with that facet of their offense, the Browns could move to within one game of the .500 mark with two games left to play.
