Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks – Odds, Pick & Prediction – 10/11/20

Sunday Night Football should be an entertaining game when the Minnesota Vikings (1-3) visit the Seattle Seahawks (4-0) on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Minnesota finally got a win last week and Seattle escaped a sleepy performance to remain unbeaten. This game will air live on NBC at 8:20 p.m. EST.

Through a quarter of the season, the Minnesota offense is averaging 26.5 points per game and 31.3 yards per game, 220.8 through the air and 150.5 on the ground. Defensively, the Vikings are allowing 31.3 points and 434.5 yards, 299.8 passing and 134.8 rushing.

The Seattle offense has been great to start 2020 as they are averaging 35.5 points per game and 434.5 yards per game, 321.3 through the air and 113.3 on the ground. Seattle has struggled on the defensive side of the ball as they are allowing 27.3 points and 484.3 yards, 408.5 passing and 75.8 rushing.

Below is my best bet for Week 5 action between the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks. All lines are from DraftKings Sportsbook.

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-7): O/U 57.5 (-110/-110)

In week four, Minnesota traveled to Houston, in a battle of winless teams, and came away with a 31-23 victory. Minnesota jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never trailed in this one as they were able to hold off a Houston comeback attempt in the third quarter. Running back Dalvin Cook went off for 130 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. Wide receiver Adam Thielen led the Vikings with eight receptions for 114 yards and one touchdown, and Justin Jefferson chipped in with four catches for 103 yards.

Seattle slept walk through the first three quarters of the week four matchup in Miami but were able to hold the Dolphins to field goals, rather than touchdowns, and came away with a 31-23 win over the Dolphins. The Seahawks never trailed, but Miami blew their opportunities in this one as they settled for five field goals on the day. Quarterback Russell Wilson was brilliant once against as he threw for 360 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Running back Chris Carson rushed the ball 16 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

Series History: Seattle has won six consecutive meetings against Minnesota, dating back to 2012, and leads the all-time series 12-5.
