Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks

Big NFC playoff implication are on the line Monday night in what is one of the best games of Week 13. The Minnesota Vikings travel up to the Pacific Northwest to take on the red hot Seattle Seahawks. These two teams currently occupy the two Wild Card spots, but are still very much in their division races.

Minnesota enters Week 13 with an 8-3 record and are now tied with the Green Bay Packers atop the NFC North. The Vikings sit in second place due to losing the head to head to Green Bay earlier this season. Minnesota has a two game lead over the Los Angeles Rams for the final Wild Card spot.

The Seattle Seahawks enter Sunday at 9-2 overall and trail the San Francisco 49ers by one game in the NFC West. Seattle is currently the 5th seed in the NFC, but still have a chance of getting the top seed, or at least a first round bye, come playoff time.

Below is my best bet for the Minnesota Vikings at the Seattle Seahawks. All lines are from DraftKings Sportsbook

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-3): O/U 48.5 points (-110/-110)

The Minnesota Vikings entered their bye week on a high note as they came back from a 20-0 deficit, against the Denver Broncos, to win 27-23 and enter their bye on a two game winning streak. Minnesota has now won six of their seven games and find themselves right in the thick of the NFC playoffs bye race. The Vikings are 3-3 on the road this season with one big win over the Dallas Cowboys a few weeks back. Minnesota is 6-5 against the spread and the over has hit in six of their 11 games this season.

The Seattle Seahawks extended their winning streak to four games with an ugly 17-9 road victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last week. Seattle got out to a 17-3 lead, but should have been winning this game by over 20 points if they could capitalize on all of the Eagles mistakes. Seattle has now won seven of their last eight games and find themselves right in the thick of the #1 seed race in the NFC. The Seahawks are 3-2 at home this season with notable losses to the Saints and Ravens. Seattle is 6-5 against the spread and the over has hit in six of their 11 games this season.

Series History: The Seattle Seahawks have won five straight meetings between these two and lead the all-time series 11-5.

Pick: Russel Wilson in prime time…against Kirk Cousins…give me Seattle -3.

YTD NFL Results: 44-37
