The game of Week 10 is probably on Monday Night Football, but the game of Sunday is no doubt the Sunday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys. The Vikings enter Sunday with a 6-3 record while the Cowboys enter at 5-3.
Dallas currently leads the NFC East by half a game over the Philadelphia Eagles and are currently in fourth place in the NFC, three games back of top seed San Francisco. The Vikings sit in second place in the NFC North, one game behind the Green Bay Packers, and currently occupy the final Wild Card spot.
Below is my best bet for the Sunday Night Football action between the Minnesota Vikings at the Dallas Cowboys. All lines are from FanDuel Sportsbook
Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys (-3): O/U 48 points (-110/-110)
The Minnesota Vikings, and specifically Kirk Cousins, do what they normally do and crumble in the crunch time against a good team. Minnesota was facing Matt Moore, and the Kansas City Vikings, and could not hold on to a 23-20 fourth quarter lead. Prior to the loss in Kansas City, the Vikings were on a four game winning streak with road wins at the Giants and Lions and home wins over Philadelphia and Washington. The Vikings have beaten two teams with a winning record this season. Minnesota is 5-4 against the spread and the under has hit in five of their nine games.
The Dallas Cowboys struggled for most of their Monday night game against the New York Giants, but a big fourth quarter made the final score seem like the game was much more of a blowout than it really was. Regardless of how they looked, the Cowboys have now won two straight games, against the Giants and Eagles, and look to have rebounded from their three game losing streak. Dallas has just one win over a team with a winning record this season. The Cowboys are 5-3 against the spread and the over has hit in five of their eight games.
Series History: The Cowboys lead the all-time series 16-14 after winning the two most recent meetings between these two.
Game Prediction: I will never trust Kirk Cousins in a big game again, so I am backing Dallas -3 Sunday night.
