When these two teams met in November Mahomes threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter, both to Tyreek Hill.
Patrick Mahomes is the best QB in the game and I expect him to throw a first quarter touchdown.
Tyreek Hill to make First Kansas City Chiefs Reception (+225)
Tyreek Hill dominated this matchup last time these two teams played, and I expect the Chiefs to go back to the well here. Whether it is an opening play bomb, or a quick WR screen, I like Tyreek Hill to record the first reception for the Chiefs in Super Bowl 55.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire under 7.5 First Half Receiving Yards (-112)
It is sage to say that Clyde Edward-Helaire has not lived up to his big offseason hype and a big part of that has to do with his ineffectiveness in the passing game. The rookie running back had just 36 receptions for 297 yards this season and has totaled exactly zero receiving yards so far in the playoffs. With Devin White roaming sideline to sideline for Tampa Bay, I expect CEH to have less than 7.5 first half receiving yards.
Harrison Butker over 8.5 points (-112)
Harrison Butker is one of the best kickers in the league and two made field goals plus three extra points gets him over this number. Do I expect the Chiefs to be able to get at least 23 points? Yes, so I love this prop bet. Butker has gone over 8.5 points in seven games this season and the Bucs have allowed kickers to get at least nine points in five games this season. I like Kansas City to constantly be in field goal position in this game, so give me Harrison Butker over 8.5 points.
