An interesting AFC vs NFC battle heads to Sunday night as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears. The Chiefs are battle for a first round bye in the playoffs and the Bears are fighting just to stay alive in the NFC Wild Card race.

Kansas City enters Week 16 at 10-4 overall and as AFC West division champions. The Chiefs are just one game back of the New England Patriots for the second seed in the AFC and, should the Patriots slip up, the Chiefs have the head-to-head advantage.

Chicago enters Sunday night with a 7-7 overall record and currently occupy the eighth seed in the NFC. The Bears are all but eliminated from the playoffs, but still have a slim chance should the Vikings slip up to end the season.

Below is my best bet for the Kansas City Chiefs at the Chicago Bears. All lines are from PointsBet Sportsbook

Kansas City Chiefs (-5) at Chicago Bears: O/U 45 points (-110/-110)

Kansas City extended their winning streak to four games with an easy 23-3 win over the Denver Broncos. It was very snowy conditions, but the Chiefs were still able to throw the ball around, as Mahomes threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns, to easily prevail over Denver. Kansas City is now 26-3 against AFC West opponents since the start of the 2014 season. Away from Arrowhead, the Chiefs are 6-1 with their lone loss coming at Tennessee. Kansas City is 9-5 against the spread and both the over and under hit in seven of their games this season.

Chicago was a few yards away from a potential game tying miracle touchdown, but as the Bears fumbled the ball away, they also saw their playoff hopes tumble away. Green Bay led 7-3 at the half and then scored 14 in a row in the third quarter to come away with the win last week. Chicago has won three of their last four games and will need to win their final two to have any hope of the reaching the playoffs. The Bears are 4-3 at Soldier Field this season and have won three in a row in Chicago. Chicago is 4-10 against the spread and the under has hit in eight of their 14 games this season.

Series History: The Bears won the most recent meeting and now lead the all-time series 7-5.

Game Prediction: I like Kansas City -5 in this one.
