Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills – Odds, Pick & Prediction – 10/19/20

A big-time game was moved to Monday, October 19, 2020, when the Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) visit the Buffalo Bills (4-1) in a game that was moved back from Thursday due to coronavirus issues. Kansas City leads the AFC West by one game over the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo leads the AFC East by 1.5 games over the New England Patriots. This game will air live on CBS at 5:00 p.m. EST.

Through five games, the Kansas City Chiefs offense is averaging 29.8 points per game and 414.2 yards per game, 294.8 through the air and 119.4 on the ground. Defensively, the Chiefs are allowing 22.0 points and 397.2 yards, 239.6 passing and 157.6 rushing.

The Buffalo Bills offense is averaging 27.8 points per game and 416.0 yards per game, 322.2 through the air and 93.8 on the ground. Defensively, the Bills are allowing 28.4 points and 382.6 yards, 274.0 passing and 108.6 rushing. Devin Singletary leads the Bills with 238 rushing yards and one touchdown, and Stefon Diggs leads the receivers with 509 yards and two touchdowns.

Below is my best bet for Week 6 action between the Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills. All lines are from BetMGM Sportsbook.

Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Buffalo Bills: O/U 57.5 (-110/-110)

Last time out, the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Oakland Raiders and, surprisingly, lost 40-32. The Kansas City defense had no answer for the Raiders offense as the Chiefs gave up a double-digit lead two times throughout the day. Patrick Mahomes threw for 340 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and added an additional 21 yards and touchdown on the ground. Tight End Travis Kelce led all Chiefs receivers with eight receptions for 108 yards and one touchdown.

The Buffalo Bills visited the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday night and came away with a 42-16 defeat. This was a weird week for both teams and the Titans clearly handled it better than Buffalo. Tennessee never trailed in this game and led by double figures for the second half. Josh Allen threw for 263 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Stefon Diggs balled out with 10 receptions and 106 yards on the night.

Series History: Kansas City has won three of the last four meetings between these two, but Buffalo leads the all-time series 26-21-1.

NFL Predictions: I like the Buffalo Bills to rebound and cover the 3.5-point spread at home.
