A key AFC South battle is set to take place on Thursday, November 12, 2020, when the Indianapolis Colts (5-3) visit the Tennessee Titans (6-2). Tennessee currently holds a one game lead over the Colts in the AFC South. This game will air live on FOX and NFL Network at 8:20 p.m. EST.
Through eight games, the Indianapolis offense is averaging 26.0 points per game and 365.4 yards per game, 263.0 through the air and 102.4 on the ground. Jonathan Taylor leads the team with 416 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while Zach Pascal is the top receiver with 24 receptions for 297 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the Colts defense is allowing 20.0 points and 307.0 yards, 223.4 passing and 83.6 rushing.
The Tennessee offense is averaging 29.0 points per game and 395.3 yards per game, 247.6 through the air and 147.6 on the ground. Derrick Henry is once again having a great season as he leads the team with 843 yards and eight touchdowns, and A.J. Brown tops the receivers with 31 receptions for 457 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, the Titans are allowing 25.1 points and 403.9 yards, 284.8 passing and 119.1 rushing.
Below is my best bet for Week 10 action between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans. All lines are from PointsBet Sportsbook.
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (-2.5): O/U 50.0 (+102/-124)
Last time out, the Indianapolis Colts hosted the Baltimore Ravens and suffered a disappointing 24-10 defeat. Indy led 10-7 at the half, but the Baltimore defense shut them out in the second half and Baltimore came away with the double-digit victory. QB Philip Rivers had a poor game as he went 25/43 for 227 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. The Colts defense held the Ravens offense to just 266 yards and recovered one Baltimore fumble.
The Tennessee Titans hosted the Chicago Bears and came away with a sleepy 24-17 victory. A win is a win, and the defense balled out, but I do not think head coach Mike Vrabel will thrilled with the game tape. Chicago couldn’t do anything on offense most of the game and Tennessee took advantage to lead 24-3 midway through the fourth quarter. QB Ryan Tannehill went 10/21 for 158 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions on the day. Wide receiver A.J. Brown had a nice day with four receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown. The Tennessee defense allowed 375 total yards and recovered two Bears fumbles.
Series History: Indianapolis has won three of the last four meetings and now leads the all-time series 34-17. The two teams split the season series last season, with both teams winning on the road.
Game Prediction: I think Tennessee rolls. Give me Titans -2.5 Thursday night.
