This week, the New York Giants will host the Houston Texans in an inter-conference matchup at MetLife Stadium. Both of these teams were expected to struggle this season, but the Giants have exceeded expectations while the Texans are in the race for the number one overall pick. In our NFL betting predictions for Week 10 of the regular season, we break down Texans vs Giants.
Texans vs Giants Betting Pick
This game will be played at MetLife Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
Why Bet The Giants:
✅ This is, quite simply, a terrible matchup for the Houston Texans. They are the worst team in the NFL against the run, giving up just over 180 yards per game to opposing rushing attacks. The Giants, meanwhile, have the fifth best rushing offense in the NFL and will put up huge numbers on the ground here.
✅ The Giants are also coming off of their bye week here, which will put them in a great spot ahead of this contest. Rested, and with an extra week to prepare, the Giants should be able to sustain a strong 60 minute performance.
✅ Houston has the second worst point differential in the NFL so far this season, sitting at -50 in that department. Only the Colts have a worse point differential at -51, and the Colts just fired their coach.

Houston Texans
Last week, the Houston Texans put up a respectable fight against the Philadelphia Eagles. But they were not able to win that game at home, eventually falling by 12 points against the undefeated NFC East leaders. This week, the Texans will look to rebound against another NFC East team in the New York Giants.
The Texans got some encouraging play out of their running game against the Eagles last week, even in a losing effort. Houston needs some sort of decent quarterback play to go with the play of Dameon Pierce, though, if they want any chance to be anything but the worst team in the NFL.
New York Giants
The New York Giants had their bye week in Week 9 of the NFL season, going into the bye at 6-2 for the year thus far. Coming out of the bye, the Giants have a great opportunity to get to 7-2 against a one-win Texans team. And the Giants will hope that their running game will get them there.
Brian Daboll’s team is taking on the worst run defense in the NFL this week, which means we should see heavy doses of Saquon Barkley all throughout this matchup. But the Giants need to find a way to mix things up offensively and move the ball through the air. Only the Falcons, Titans, and Bears are averaging fewer passing yards per game than the Giants this season, which could help the Texans key in on the run here.
