In one of the few non-division games in the NFL this week, the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys will take part in a Texas two-step in Arlington. These teams are in two very different places coming into this contest, with the Cowboys being one of the best teams in the league and the Texans being one of the worst. In our NFL picks for Sunday, we look at Texans vs Cowboys from AT&T Stadium.

Why Bet The Cowboys:
✅ The Houston Texans are simply not playing football at a professional level so far this season. They have lost seven straight games and have lost by double figures in four of their last five. They will get blown out again here by the Cowboys.
✅ Dallas will put constant pressure on Kyle Allen, or whoever the quarterback is for the Texans this week. The Cowboys lead the NFL with 48 sacks, piling up six more sacks than the second place Eagles in that category.
✅ The Cowboys are 8-4 against the spread this season, tied for the third best record in the league against the number this year. This is a huge point spread, but the gap in quality between these teams should make it manageable.

Houston Texans
The Houston Texans did not give up an offensive touchdown in their game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. But that did not matter, as they gave up two defensive touchdowns and a special teams touchdowns to the Browns in a 27-14 loss. This week, the Texans have to clean things up if they want to snap their seven-game losing streak and get back into the win column.
Kyle Allen once again played quarterback in the place of Davis Mills last week, and that did not go well for the Texans. Allen threw for just 201 yards, and the Texans allowed more non-offensive touchdowns to the Browns than they scored as a team. Here, the Texans need to be better offensively, if for no other reason to keep the ball away from Dak Prescott.
Dallas Cowboys
On Sunday Night Football in Week 13, the Dallas Cowboys crushed the Indianapolis Colts, putting up 54 points in a 35 point win. The game was close going into the fourth quarter, before the Cowboys outscored Indianapolis 33-0 in the final 15 minutes. This week, the Cowboys will aim for a performance similar to that fourth quarter across all 60 minutes against the Texans on Sunday.
Dallas should have no problem winning this game, but focus on the details will be crucial for Dallas here. The NFL is a sport where a couple of errant possessions can keep an underdog in a game, and the Cowboys will have to make sure that turnovers or blown defensive assignments do not give the Texans any sort of life. If they can do that, this one should go smoothly in Arlington.
