Sunday’s NFL Wild Card betting slate features an NFC matchup between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings that many are pegging to be a tight contest. In fact, it is one of just three Wild Card weekend matchups with a point spread of a field goal or fewer. Let’s take a look at three of the best bets on the card to build a Giants vs Vikings Same Game Parlay.
The Giants and Vikings linked up for a thriller late in the season, with Minnesota winning on a field goal in the final seconds to make it a 27-24 final. Casual fans hope for another action packed game and can expect one as the Giants and Vikes played in almost exclusively nail biters during their respective seasons.

Head to Head
Teams Last 10
Pick 1: Daniel Jones Over 243.5 Passing Yards (-110)
The Minnesota Vikings secondary was one of the worst in football and a welcome sight for any quarterback lucky enough to play them this season. That included Daniel Jones, who enjoyed a 334 yard passing outing during his regular season trip to Minnesota.
Excluding their Week 18 matchup against backup Nathan Peterman, the Vikings have allowed 300 yard passing performances or 150 yards of quarterback rushing yards to their opponents. Expect another big day for Danny Dimes in a playoff setting against a secondary that can’t help but give up yardage through the air.

Pick 2: Saquon Barkley Over 23.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Another play taking advantage of the Vikings poor pass coverage, Saquon Barkley should be able to exploit soft coverage to rack up yardage in the flats in the passing game.
In Week 16 against Minnesota, Barkley had season highs in catches, receiving yardage and targets. After a 49 yard receiving performance, getting 23.5 as a total on Barkley is a number too tempting to pass up with such a favorable matchup and a recent performance where he more than doubled his total for the Wild Card meeting.

Pick 3: TJ Hockenson Over 49.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Hockenson has thrived since jumping to the Vikings after a midseason trade ended his run with the Detroit Lions. Putting up some of the best numbers in the league for tight ends, Hockenson has gone over the 50 yard number in three of the last four games if you exclude the Week 18 dead rubber.
Hockenson is also receiving a lion’s share of targets, averaging 11.25 per game during that four game span. If he continues to see the football as much as he has, he should cross fifty another time. Even if the Giants throw Xavier McKinley at him as is being reported.

Giants vs Vikings Preview
The New York Giants surprised many to make the playoffs and defied the odds all season as a true underdog team. The G-Men went 13-4 against the spread this season and will look to cover another time from the underdog spot as +3 dogs against the Vikes.
Minnesota had a strong regular season as a team that often won games late on the path to the NFC North title. Those close games made the Vikings a losing team against the spread unfortunately as they went 7-9-1 ATS. Minnesota’s 10-0 record in one score games may have been an impressive show of resolve but it ultimately cost Vikings spread bettors money.
Daniel Jones’ legs could be an X-Factor in this matchup. Jones is an underrated dual threat, running for 707 yards this season with a handful of rushing touchdowns.
Both teams are banged up on defense ahead of the playoffs. The Giants have pass rusher Leonard Williams, cornerbacks Adoree Jackson and Jason Pinnock along with linebacker Azeez Ojulari listed as questionable. Minnesota has safety and defensive leader Harrison Smith still listed as questionable along with linebacker Ze’Darius Smith and cornerback Cameron Dantzler.
