The final game of the NFL Divisional playoff weekend will be an epic between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. These teams are no strangers to one another in the regular season or playoffs, with their growing rivalry set to be the highlight of the weekend’s playoff football action. Here, we make our favorite Chiefs vs Bills props as part of our NFL betting picks for the Divisional playoffs.
Chiefs vs Bills Player Prop #1: Josh Allen Over 42.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
The first of our Chiefs vs Bills props for Sunday is for Josh Allen to go over his rushing yardage prop for the Buffalo Bills. Allen has been excellent with his legs over the last couple of weeks, helping the Bills get key first downs and touchdowns in order to win must-win games. While we don’t expect another rushing touchdown of over 50 yards in this game, we do expect Allen to not be cautious and to run early and often when the opportunity presents itself.
It is worth pointing out that Allen has averaged 11.3 rushing attempts per game over the last three weeks for the Bills, games that the Bills needed to have to win the AFC East and advance to this stage of the playoffs. He also had 10 rushing attempts against the Chiefs when they played in the regular season this year. That kind of volume should lead to at least four yards per carry in this game and for Allen to go over this number.
Chiefs vs Bills Player Prop #2: Longest Field Goal Under 47.5 Yards (-115)
Our next prop selection concerns the kickers in this game and how long the longest made field goal in the game will be. We expect the longest made kick in this contest to be under 47.5 yards, as the cold conditions and wind are likely to make things tougher than usual for two very good kickers in Tyler Bass of the Bills and Harrison Butker of the Chiefs.
Last week, Butker made all four of his field goal attempts for the Chiefs, but none of those kicks were from more than 32 yards away. Bass, meanwhile, converted on just one of his three field goal attempts with his make coming from 45 yards. Buffalo may rethink its strategy attempting long kicks given how poorly kicking went for them last week, which will help us get home on this under.
