Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders – Odds, Pick & Prediction – 10/04/20

An interesting matchup between a team that has proved it is a real threat, and another trying to prove they are for real, takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2020, when the Buffalo Bills (3-0) visit the Las Vegas Raiders (2-1). Buffalo won a weird game in week three, while the Raiders suffered their first defeat of the season. This game will air live on CBS at 4:25 p.m. EST.

The Buffalo Bills offense has been rolling through three weeks as they are averaging 31.0 points per game and 449.7 yards, 346.0 through the air and 103.7 on the ground. Defensively, Buffalo are allowing 25.7 points per game and 394.0 yards, 288.0 passing and 106.0 rushing.

Las Vegas is averaging 29.3 points per game and 386.3 yards, 261.3 through the air and 125.0 on the ground. The defense has been a problem for the Raiders as they are allowing 30.0 points per game and 411.3 yards, 247.7 passing and 163.7 rushing.

Below is my best bet for Week 4 action between the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders. All lines are from BetRivers Sportsbook.

Buffalo Bills (-3.0) at Las Vegas Raiders: O/U 52.5 (-110/-110)

It was a tale of two halves for Buffalo as they beat the Los Angeles Rams 35-32 in Orchard Park. The Bills raced to a 28-3 third quarter lead, but Los Angeles was able to reel off 31 straight points to take a four-point lead with four minutes remaining. Josh Allen then led the Bills on an incredible 11 play, 75-yard drive to give Buffalo a big-time win. Allen threw for 311 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception, and ran for another touchdown on the day. Cole Beasley led the way with six receptions for 100 yards for Buffalo. It was almost an ugly collapse for Buffalo, but all wins look the same in the record column.

It was the Rex Burkhead show for New England in week three as the Patriots cruised to a comfortable 36-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders led 3-0 after the first quarter, but New England used three Burkhead touchdowns to take control of the game. Derek Carr threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns and Hunter Renfroe led the Raiders receivers with eight grabs for 84 yards and a touchdown. Las Vegas cost themselves with three lost fumbles on the day.

Series History: Buffalo has won three of the last five meetings between these two teams, but Las Vegas still leads the all-time series 21-20.
