Monday Night Football returns on September 13, 2021, when the Baltimore Ravens visit the Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams have question marks entering this season, so both will want to use Week One as a measuring stick. This game will air live on ESPN and ABC at 8:15 p.m. EST.
Baltimore finished the 2020 season at 11-5 and finished in second place in the AFC North. It was good enough to make the playoffs and Baltimore earned a win in the Wild Card round against the Tennessee Titans. The Ravens season ended in the Divisional round when they fell 17-3 at Buffalo. John Harbaugh will hope to make it back to another Super Bowl in 2021.

The Raiders first season in Las Vegas saw them go 8-8 and finish second in the AFC West. It was not good enough to make the playoffs and the Raiders have now missed out on postseason play for four consecutive seasons. Jon Gruden is entering his fourth season in charge of the Raiders and it’s time for him to get some results.

Baltimore Ravens vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction
Baltimore was very active this offseason as they look to make a push towards the Super Bowl. On the offense, the Ravens added WR Sammy Watkins, and offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva, Ja’Wuan James, and Michael Schofield. They did lose Mark Ingram to free agency and JK Dobbins to season ending injury during training camp. Defensively, Baltimore added Justin Houston and Chris Smith, but lost Tramon Williams, Matthew Judon, Yannick Ngakoue, and Jayron Kearse.
Las Vegas made some big-name acquisitions, but it remains to see if they will make the team any better. Offensively, the Raiders brought in Kenyan Drake and John Brown, but traded away three offensive linemen in Rodney Hudson, Trent Brown, and Gabe Jackson. Defensively, Las Vegas brought in Solomon Thomas, Quinton Jefferson, and Yannick Ngakoue.
Series History: Baltimore has won the last two meetings and leads the all-time series 9-3. The Ravens have outscored Las Vegas 317-195.
Game Prediction: This is a tough line. I think if this was Week 10 I would like Baltimore to cover, but give me Las Vegas +4.5 on Monday Night Football.
