Head to Head
Teams Last 10
This game will be played at Paycor Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Why Bet The Over:
✅ Both of these teams are in the top half of the NFL in scoring offense this season. The Bengals are averaging 23 points per game despite being at the bottom of the league in yards per play. Atlanta is averaging 24.3 points per game as well, and is coming off of a 28-point game against the San Francisco 49ers. Expect both teams to continue scoring en route to an over here.

✅ Atlanta will give Cincinnati plenty of scoring chances in this contest. The Falcons have allowed the sixth-most yards per game in the NFL through six weeks of play. That should mean chances for Joe Burrow and the rest of the Bengals to go on sustained drives that end in points throughout this contest at home, to the benefit of the over.
✅ Neither of these teams are known for turning the ball over a ton, which will help drives end in points more often. Both teams are in the middle of the pack in the NFL this season with eight giveaways. Barring a huge outlier in terms of their turnover performances in this game, both teams should keep the ball and push the game over the total.
Atlanta Falcons
Week 6 was a huge success for the Atlanta Falcons, as they got the better of the San Francisco 49ers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Atlanta forced some turnovers that they turned into points, and they took good enough care of the ball to get the victory at home to move to 3-3. Now the Falcons will look to get above .500 by earning their second straight victory.
For the Falcons, run defense will continue to be priority after they put on a masterclass in stopping the 49ers on the ground in Week 6. Atlanta held the Niners to just 50 rushing yards, while the Falcons had 168 rushing yards of their own. If they can replicate that disparity against the Bengals, the Falcons could be on their way to a 4-3 record.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals stole one late against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6, grabbing a win on the road to improve to 3-3 on the season. They got 300 passing yards and three touchdowns from Joe Burrow, including the game winner to Ja’Marr Chase in the final minutes to secure the victory. Here, the Bengals will need more from their running game, but they come into this game as convincing favorites against the Falcons.
Against the Saints, the Bengals allowed 399 yards of offense to the Andy Dalton led Saints, which is concerning coming into this game against the versatile Falcons offense. With so many ways for the Falcons to hurt opposing defenses, the Bengals have to be better than they were a game ago on the defensive side of the ball.
