Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers Week 11 Betting Odds & Pick

Another NFC South matchup is on the books Week 11 as the 2-7 Atlanta Falcons travel to North Carolina to take on the 5-4 Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are firmly in the NFC Wild Card picture while the Falcons are looking to gain some positive momentum in the second half of their season.

Atlanta currently sits at the bottom of the NFC South and are the third worst team in entire NFC. If the season ended today Atlanta would have the 6th overall pick in the 2020 draft. Carolina currently sit in second place in the NFC South and are two games back of the division leading New Orleans Saints. In the NFC, the Panthers are currently the 9th seed and sit one and half games back of the final Wild Card spot.

Below is my best bet for the Atlanta Falcons at the Carolina Panthers. All lines are from DraftKings Sportsbook

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers (-6.5): O/U 50.5 points (-110/-110)

In the biggest upset of the 2019 season, the Atlanta Falcons went into New Orleans and won 26-9 in a game that did not seem like the Saints were ever going to win. Atlanta desperately needed the bye week to come and it looks like it may have done them well as they were able to regroup and get their second win of the season. Prior to the bye Atlanta had lost six games and were in contention for the #1 pick in the draft. The Falcons are 3-6 against the spread and the under has hit in six of their nine games this season.

Carolina was one yard away from potentially tying the game and forcing overtime in snowy Green Bay, but the Packers stopped Christian McCaffrey at the goal line and came away with the win. After going on a four game win streak, from weeks 3-6, the Panthers have alternated wins and losses and will look to continue that trend in Week 11. Carolina has won three straight home games after starting the season 0-2 at home. The Panthers are 5-4 against the spread and the over has hit in six of their nine games this season.

Series History: The Falcons lead the all-time series 30-18 and are currently on a three game winning streak in the series.

Game Prediction: Potentially without Austin Hooper and Devonta Freeman, I do not like the Falcons chances of being able to stay in this one. Back Carolina -6.5.

YTD NFL Results: 34-32
