This game will be played at Lambeau Field at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Why Bet The Jets:
✅ We have seen the Green Bay Packers in this spot two weeks in a row. They have been favored by more than a touchdown against the Patriots and Giants in back to back weeks. They went 1-1 straight up in those games, but failed to cover the spread in both of them. Expect them to drop to 0-3 against the spread as a favorite of more than a touchdown in the last three weeks against an underrated Jets team.

✅ Statistically, these teams are very similar so far this season. The Packers average 6.2 yards per game more on offense and allow 16.8 yards per game less than the Jets through five weeks. This is going to be a competitive game, even if the public perception surrounding these teams would lead bettors to believe that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are miles better.
✅ So far this season, the Jets are 3-2 against the spread, while the Packers are 2-3 against the spread. While this is a small sample size, it speaks to the fact that the Jets have exceeded expectations so far this year, while the Packers have fallen short of expectations for the most part. Expect those things to continue here in Week 6.
New York Jets
The New York Jets won outright as a three-point underdog in Week 5, beating the Miami Dolphins handily at MetLife Stadium. They knocked Teddy Bridgewater out of the game early, and were able to limit Skylar Thompson and the Dolphins offense from there. Now, the Jets look to pull through in a much tougher assignment, on the road against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
For the Jets, pass defense will be the key to this Jets vs Packers game, which is an area they have performed admirably in this season thus far. They rank 10th in the NFL in passing yards per game allowed, and have a very good top corner in Sauce Gardner, who got his first interception as a pro against Miami. Against a Packers team that has been inconsistent through the air this season, the Jets could keep this game close down to the wire.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers went to London for the first time in franchise history in Week 5, and lost their first ever international game to the New York Giants. After taking a 17-3 lead in the first half, the Packers fell apart and only managed to score two points in the final 30 minutes of play, which came on an intentional safety by the Giants. This week, the Packers will look to rebound after struggling as a favorite in each of their last two games.
For the Packers, run defense has been a bit of an issue over the last couple of weeks against the Patriots and Giants. They allowed 125 rushing yards to the Giants, and rank in the bottom half of the league in rushing yards allowed per game. While the strength of the Jets offense is not their running game, rookie running back Breece Hall could cause problems for the Packers defense on Sunday.
