But Clemson is projected to narrowly miss the NCAA Tournament field coming into this game. As a result, they absolutely have to have this game against NC State.
For Clemson, containing Smith and slowing down the NC State offense has to be their top key to this contest. But the play of Hunter Tyson, who leads the Tigers in scoring and rebounding, will also be huge as he needs to put up points and control the glass to give his team a chance to stay alive in the race for a March Madness berth.
