Why Bet on Boston College:
✅ The defense of Louisville is its weak point, which Boston College will take full advantage of. Louisville is one of two teams to allow over 75 points per game this season in the ACC, and their issues getting stops will show up here to end their season.
✅ This season’s Kenpom ratings paint an even more grim picture of Louisville than the ACC standings ever could. They show Louisville ranked 284th out of 363 Division I teams, sandwiched between America East schools Maine and New Hampshire.
✅ Boston College was 12-8 against the spread in conference play this season, slightly better than Louisville’s 11-9 mark in the ACC.

Head to Head
Teams Last 10
Louisville Cardinals
The Louisville Cardinals are not likely to win this year’s ACC Tournament, after a regular season where they won just four games total. This campaign was a disaster for the once proud program, as they finished dead last in the ACC. Here, they will look to pull an upset in the first round of the conference tourney, and to keep their hopes of a miraculous run to the NCAA Tournament alive for at least another day.
Louisville comes into this game having lost four straight games, all of which were by double digits. That includes a 16-point loss at 13th place Georgia Tech, which is highly concerning going into this tournament. Louisville finished last in the ACC in scoring this season at 64.0 points per game, and 14th of 15 teams in points allowed at 75.6 points per game. That is not a good combination going into this event.
Boston College Eagles
The Boston College Eagles come into the ACC Tournament having won three of their last four games. Despite dropping their regular season finale to Georgia Tech, BC has been playing well, scoring a win over the Virginia Cavaliers during the final stretch of the regular season. Here, they look to avoid an upset at the hands of Louisville with a spot in the second round on the line.
For Boston College, Makai Ashton-Langford will be the key man against the Cardinals. He leads the Eagles in scoring this season, but no player on this team averages more than 12.1 points per game. He will need to play some of his best basketball to avoid being overshadowed by Louisville’s El Ellis, and to keep BC’s season alive.
