The Liberty Flames come into the ASUN championship game on a five-game winning streak. They beat Bellarmine and Eastern Kentucky at home in their first two games of this tournament. But they will need to get a win on the road over Kennesaw State if they want their season to culminate in a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
For the Flames, the question in this game will be whether their defense can stand tall on the road against the Owls. The Flames had no issues putting the ball in the basket against Kennesaw State earlier in the season, scoring 81 points in regulation. But Liberty gave up 88 points in that lone regular season matchup, and they will need to tighten up their defense significantly to reach March Madness.
