While it may not carry the same significance as it does in football, Florida and Georgia are still heated rivals in basketball as well. On Tuesday night, they will face off in a game between two of the bottom-five teams in the SEC in Athens. In our college basketball betting picks for Tuesday, we break down Florida vs Georgia.

Why Bet on Georgia:
✅ Florida has gone ice cold of late, losing four of their last five games. Two of those losses came against Vanderbilt, including a home loss to the Commodores, which is concerning going into the final stretch of the regular season.
✅ Georgia has also been struggling, having lost three straight games. But those losses came against three top-five teams in the SEC in Alabama, Arkansas, and Missouri. Against a fellow bottom feeder here, the Bulldogs will get back into the win column at home.

The Florida Gators come into Tuesday night with a 14-15 overall record and a 7-9 record in conference play. They have lost three games in a row and four of their last five, as their season has really fallen apart. Here, they will look for a big win over the Georgia Bulldogs to give them some sort of confidence as the SEC Tournament approaches.
Defensively, the Gators have been a real mess, giving up 80 or more points in four of their last five games. Those four games have all been losses, as the Gators really need to step up on that end of the floor if they are going to avoid going out with a whimper this season.
The Georgia Bulldogs have also been struggling, losing three straight games. They have dropped to 16-13 overall and 6-10 in SEC play on the year. Here, they will aim to take advantage of a very winnable game at home against a Florida team that has been struggling mightily.
For Georgia, the big question here is going to be who will step up to carry the scoring load for them. They do not have a player averaging 15 points per game or more this season. But someone will have to put the ball in the basket if they are going to get the better of the Gators here.
