Why Bet on Duke:
✅ Dukeis playing at an incredibly high level coming into this game. They have won seven games in a row, and are coming off of a 27-point blowout win over Pitt. They will continue to run like a well-oiled machine here against Miami.
✅ Miami, on the other hand, was far less impressive in its ACC Tournament opener. They barely squeaked by a thoroughly unimpressive Wake Forest team, which does not bode well as they get ready to face the buzzsaw that has been Duke.
✅ There is also the undeniable fact that this is going to be a home game atmosphere for Duke. With North Carolina and NC State both out of this tournament, expect the Greensboro Coliseum to be packed to the gills with Blue Devils supporters.

Duke Blue Devils: Suddenly Looking Like Title Contenders
Going into Friday night, the Duke Blue Devils are playing some of the best basketball in the country. They have won seven games in a row, including a game against the Pitt Panthers last night in which they scored 96 points. Now, coming off of their most productive offensive performance of the season, the Blue Devils will look to get a win over Miami to reach the ACC championship game.
Kyle Filipowski will once again be the engine that drives the Blue Devils if they are going to win this Duke vs Miami contest. Filipowski scored 22 points against Pitt, making a ruthlessly efficient eight of his 10 field goal attempts. If he can get Duke on the board throughout this game without needing to take a lot of shot attempts, the Blue Devils could cruise to the final once again.
Miami Hurricanes: Statement Game in a Hostile Environment
Miami entered the ACC Tournament as the top seed, by virtue of finishing with the best record in conference play. But they will not feel like they have the advantage of being a top seed in this semifinal against Duke. With this game taking place in Duke’s home state of North Carolina, the Hurricanes will need to stand strong if they are going to find a way to advance to the ACC final.
For Miami to have a chance in what is essentially a road game against Duke, they will need to remain efficient from the field. The Hurricanes shot 52.5% from the field against Wake Forest in the semifinals. They were especially solid from two-point range, shooting 62.5% from inside the three-point line. Another night like that from two-point territory could be enough to neutralize the crowd and the red-hot Blue Devils.
