Arizona Wildcats at Stanford Cardinal –Pac-12 Basketball Odds, Preview & Pick

A big game in the Pac-12 regular season race is scheduled for Saturday February 15, 2020 as the Arizona Wildcats (17-7 overall 7-4 Pac-12) travel to Northern California to take on the Stanford Cardinal (16-8 overall 5-6 Pac-12).

The Arizona Wildcats are right there looking to win the Pac-12 regular season title as they are just half a game back of the Colorado Buffaloes and Oregon Ducks with those two teams playing Friday night. Arizona would be a six seed in the South region and would have a match-up with 11 seed Cincinnati according to Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology.

Stanford have a bit of an uphill battle, but the Cardinal are just 2.5 games back of the leaders in the Pac-12. A win this weekend would catapult them right back into serious contention. The Cardinal are one of the last four teams in and would have to face off against Arkansas in one of the four play in games.

Below is my best bet for Arizona at Stanford. All odds are from Draftkings NJ Sportsbook.

Arizona Wildcats (-4) at Stanford Cardinal: O/U 135 (-115/-105)

The Wildcats got back to their winning ways with an easy 68-52 road win at California Thursday night. The game was tight until midway through the second half when Arizona pulled away and led by as many as 19 points late in the game. Arizona is 13-11 against the spread and the under has hit in 13 of their 24 games this season.

Stanford’s late season slide continued Thursday night as they lost a home game to the Arizona State Sun Devils. Arizona State led throughout, but the Cardinal cut the lead to three points late in the game to make it an uncomfortable finish. The Cardinal have now lost three in a row and need to beat Arizona this weekend to stay in the NCAA Tournament bracket. Stanford are 15-9 against the spread and the under has his in 14 of their 24 games this season.

Series History: These two schools have met 93 times in the past and Arizona has dominated the series winning 67 of the 93 games. Arizona has won 19 straight games between these two schools with Stanford not winning a game since the 2008-2009 season.

Prediction: I think this could be a pretty good game, but it’s always hard to sweep a road trip in the Pac-12, so I am backing Stanford +4 Saturday night.

YTD College Basketball Results: 3-5
