Why Bet The Titans:
✅ It is worth remembering that luck was firmly on the side of the Bengals in their playoff win over the Titans. They got several Ryan Tannehill turnovers and Derrick Henry was banged up for that game. Those things changing for this contest will help the Titans pick up the win this time around.
✅ Tennessee is 3-1 at home this year, and their lone home loss came after they blew a double-digit lead to the New York Giants. Expect more success at home from the Titans here.
✅ Tennessee remains the best team in the NFL against the spread so far this season. They are 8-2 against the number, as they have continued to exceed the expectations set by bookmakers during the 2022 campaign.

Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of an impressive win last week, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in a surprisingly high-scoring game. After being held to 20 points in their first meeting with Pittsburgh this year, the Bengals put up 37 points and got a huge win in AFC North competition. Here, the Bengals face a tough road test against the Titans, in a game they need to win in order to improve their playoff prospects.
For the Bengals, slowing down Derrick Henry is goal number one for this game. Cincinnati has a mid-tier run defense so far this year, but they have have not faced many backs as good as Henry so far this year. To prevent another shootout this week, the Bengals will need to force Ryan Tannehill to throw in long-distance downs, which was their recipe for success in last year’s Divisional playoff win.
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans got a great win last week on Thursday Night Football, beating the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field. Tennessee got 333 passing yards from Ryan Tannehill, who shredded the Packers secondary en route to a victory. Here, the Titans hope that Tannehill will continue to play well to help them earn a third straight win to get to 8-3 on the year.
Here, the run defense of the Titans will be huge for the purposes of stopping Joe Mixon. Tennessee ranks first in the NFL in run defense this year, giving up 82.2 yards per game on the ground. While the Bengals are comfortable throwing the football, putting Joe Burrow in predictable passing downs could help make things tougher on the Bengals signal caller.
