Tennessee Titans Betting Preview
Two seasons ago, the Tennessee Titans looked like a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Then the 2022 season came around, and injuries to Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry wrecked their chances of winning a championship. Now, the Titans will look to put themselves back together to win the AFC South and get back to the postseason.
Tennessee drafted another quarterback this offseason, which could mean another attempt at replacing Ryan Tannehill. But Tannehill will start the season under center with Henry as his workhorse back, as the Titans look to win a division that is stocked with young quarterbacking talent entering this campaign.

Tennessee Titans Picks, Predictions & Betting News
Offseason Transactions
Key Additions: Will Levis, Andre Dillard, Arden Key
Key Departures: Nate Davis, David Long, DeMarcus Walker
The Titans drafted a quarterback for the second year in a row, as they brought in Will Levis out of Kentucky early in the second round. Levis, like Anthony Richardson, struggled to help his team in the SEC last season. But between him, Ryan Tannehill, and Malik Willis, the Titans hope that there is an answer somewhere in their quarterback room.
The biggest problem with the Titans’ offseason additions is that they did not do enough to address their skill position needs. At wide receiver, the Titans are especially bleak, as it feels like the Titans are going to rely very heavily on Henry in 2023. But in a division full of unproven quarterback talent, Henry might be enough to carry the Titans to a division title.

Last season, the Tennessee Titans finished second in the AFC South, in spite of an offense that was one of the worst in the NFL in scoring. This year, the Titans will hope to have a little more of a scoring punch with Tannehill and Henry back on the field. But it will be interesting to see what this team does at the quarterback position as this season wears on, as they now have two young quarterbacks to try and develop.

Tennessee’s defense was great against the run on a per carry basis, but was terrible at stopping explosive pass plays. The Titans ended up being a middle of the pack scoring defense last year, despite their offense being so bad during the second half of the season. Tennessee could very well be just as good defensively this year, and their offense could improve to help their numbers get even better.
Positives & Negatives
On the positive side of things for the Titans, they have one of the league’s truly great workhorse running backs in Derrick Henry. With Henry in their backfield, the Titans will be able to control the clock to some degree, even if their passing game is a question mark. While Henry’s presence has not led to playoff success just yet, he will make this offense respectable as long as he is healthy.
On the negative side, the Titans have one of the worst receiving corps in football. They could use some weapons to make life easier on Tannehill, Willis, and Levis. But with Treylon Burks arguably being their best receiver, this receiver group is simply bleak.
2023 Tennessee Titans Win Total Prediction: Over 7.5 Wins
Wide receiver issues aside, the Titans should be able to get close to the .500 mark this year. Their running game will simply break down their opponents at times this season, and their run defense should still be one of the better units in the league. Look for the Titans to win around nine games en route to a season win total over.
