Packers vs Ravens Betting Pick
This game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium at 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Why Bet The Packers:
✅ Lamar Jackson is one quarterback who cannot afford to have an ankle or knee injury coming into a game. Jackson is going to be compromised heading into this matchup, which will impact his mobility. And given that he has been terrible at throwing the football lately, any hampered mobility will make him virtually useless on the football field.
✅ Green Bay, meanwhile, has been absolutely surging of late. The Packers have won two games in a row, sure, but they also have the best yards per play number in the NFL over the last three weeks. Green Bay has averaged 6.7 yards per play over the last three weeks, and they appear to be rounding into form offensively heading into the home stretch of the season.

✅ Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are a league-best 11-2 against the spread this season, while the Ravens are just 6-7 against the number in 2021. It is also worth remembering that the Packers’ 11-2 mark against the spread comes in a season where they were without Aaron Rodgers for a week, making their record even more impressive.
Green Bay Packers
Green Bay took a punch from the Chicago Bears in their Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 14. But the Packers took what was a competitive game at halftime and turned it into a blowout thanks to a dominant second half performance. Here, the Packers will look for a similarly strong second half against a Baltimore Ravens team that has not been playing its best football.
During the second half of this season, the Packers have been incredible on the offensive side of the ball. Rodgers is leading a Green Bay offense that has been better than any other offense in the league in terms of their yards per play average over the last three weeks. And with Rodgers having the opportunity to heal his injured toe each week between games, it is possible that the Packers are just scratching the surface of what they can do.
Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens dropped a second straight division game last week, falling against the Cleveland Browns to drop to 8-5 on the year. But the real story of that game against the Browns was the loss of Lamar Jackson for the game due to a sprained ankle. Now the question is just how much that ankle will impact him and if the Ravens should be worried about their starting signal caller.
If he does play, Jackson will need to be better throwing the football than he has been in recent weeks. He has 16 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions this season, which is not a ratio befitting a former MVP in the NFL. Jackson will need to be especially careful with the ball if he isn’t able to run as often to bail his team out of tough situations on offense.
