This game will be played at SoFi Stadium at 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Why Bet The Seahawks vs Rams Under:
✅ Seattle has really struggled offensively over the course of this season. Even last week, they needed a half to get going against the Houston Texans before pulling away in the second half. Expect another slow offensive start here from the Seahawks against a Rams team that has allowed just 4.7 yards per play over the last three weeks.
✅ These two teams played a 26-17 game earlier in the season in Seattle, which of course was under the current total for this game at sportsbooks. Since then, Russell Wilson has only looked worse, as he suffered a hand injury and has failed to play up to the MVP-caliber level that he had been known for previously.

✅ Seattle has been terrible at helping get games over the total over the course of the 2021 NFL season. They are 9-3-1 to the under in their games so far this season, even with all of the weapons that they possess in the passing game. Expect Seattle to notch their 10th under of the season when this game is complete.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks picked up their second win in a row last week, defeating the Houston Texans to move to 5-8 on the year. Those two straight wins have at least kept the Seahawks in playoff contention for now, even if they still need to leapfrog several teams in the NFC to secure a Wild Card spot. But with virtually no margin for error the rest of the way, the Seahawks will need to be near-perfect this week to continue to have a shot.
While Seattle did do a nice job in the second half against the Texans, they have to be concerned that it took so long for them to pull away from a team as bad as Houston. Offensive consistency has been hard to come by for the Seahawks, who have struggled to get one of the best receivers in the league in DK Metcalf the ball lately. They will need to get him involved if the Seahawks want to upset the Rams and move closer to legitimate playoff contention.
Los Angeles Rams
Monday Night Football in Week 14 saw the Los Angeles Rams score one of the biggest wins of the entire NFL season. There, they beat the Arizona Cardinals on the road by a score of 30-23, moving to 9-4 in the process. The win pulled the Rams within a game of the Cardinals in the NFC West and, perhaps just as importantly, reminded the Rams and the rest of the league that Los Angeles’ NFC representative is a legitimate contender.
Matthew Stafford threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns, with no interceptions from the Rams’ starting quarterback in the win. Stafford has been criticized for years for failing to lead his teams to wins in big games, but stepped up in a huge way in this contest. If he can do so again in this matchup with the Seahawks, the Rams would have a foot in the door of the postseason.
