This game will be played at State Farm Stadium at 8:15 PM ET on Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Why Bet The Saints:
✅ The Arizona Cardinals are at home in this game, which has been anything but an advantage for them so far this season. Arizona is 0-3 at home so far this season, falling against the Chiefs, Eagles, and Rams. They will once again struggle defensively at home, en route to a fourth straight home loss and a 2-5 start to the season.

✅ The Saints are not a team you want to face on a short prep week. Their offense features multiple quarterbacks, and the ability to run the ball with Taysom Hill along with their group of running backs. And with the Cardinals having a lower tier head coach in Kliff Kingsbury, that short week is going to be even tougher for them.
✅ Only one NFL quarterback has averaged fewer yards per attempt this season than Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. That would be Mitch Trubisky, who is widely regarded as one of the worst signal callers in the NFL. Murray has simply lacked the ability to make big plays through the air this season, and that is not going to change here.
New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints had a late lead against the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 6. But they could not get the stop they needed down the stretch to pick up a victory. Instead, the Saints dropped to 2-4 on the season, and into third place in the NFC South behind the 3-3 Buccaneers and Falcons. This week, the Saints have another winnable game on their schedule against the struggling Cardinals.
In this contest, the pass rush of the Saints will be of vital importance to their success. With DeAndre Hopkins coming back for the Cardinals in Week 7, the Saints need to prevent Kyler Murray from having the time to let routes develop downfield. If they can do that, the Saints could pick up a win that could help turn their season around.
Arizona Cardinals
Last week, the Arizona Cardinals could not improve to 3-0 on the road on the season. Instead, they lost to the Seattle Seahawks, as the Cardinals offense stumbled to just nine points against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. This week, the Cardinals will look to get back on track against the Saints, but they will need more from their offense to do so.
Arizona is averaging just 19 points per game on the season after their loss to the Seahawks. Kyler Murray is a big reason for their offensive issues, as he has just six touchdown passes in six weeks. Getting DeAndre Hopkins back will be nice, but will not all of a sudden turn Murray into a great quarterback again.
