Head to Head
Teams Last 10
This game will be played at Gillette Stadium at 8:15 PM ET on Monday, October 24, 2022.
Why Bet The Patriots:
✅ The Chicago Bears simply do not have the firepower to keep up with most teams right now. They rank dead last in the NFL in passing yards per game, and their 15.5 points per game ranks second to last in the league. They will once again struggle to put points on the board in this contest en route to a resounding loss in New England.

✅ Chicago is 0-3 at home on the season so far, having lost each of their three road games by at least a touchdown. While those games featured teams that have been performing better than the Patriots this season, the Bears’ offensive struggles combined with their road struggles make the Patriots worth betting here.
✅ Speaking of the Patriots, they have been playing at an incredibly high level over the last couple of weeks. They have won two straight games, winning those contests by a combined margin of 67-15. They have shut down a couple of potent offenses in a row in the Lions and Browns, and will do the same here against a listless Bears offense.
Chicago Bears
Last week, the Chicago Bears had a chance to win at the end of their Thursday Night Football game against the Washington Commanders. But they could not put the ball into the end zone, going 0/3 on red zone scoring chances in a low-scoring loss. This week, the Bears go back on the road, where they have really struggled so far this year.
This team simply is not going to get better until they figure out how to move the ball through the air. Justin Fields has the potential to be a quality dual-threat quarterback, with Fields ranking in the top-10 in yards per pass attempt this season. But the conservative nature of the Bears offensive play calling has made them hard to watch to say the least.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots got their second straight win last week, beating the Cleveland Browns 38-15. Bailey Zappe is now 2-0 as a starting quarterback in the NFL, and the defense of the Patriots has really helped Zappe out. They have allowed 7.5 points per game during Zappe’s two starts, which is a great blueprint for success with a rookie backup quarterback in the fold.
We will see if Zappe gets the start again for the Patriots against the Bears, as Mac Jones’ status for Monday night is uncertain. No matter who starts this game for the Patriots, they have to like their chances against a Bears team that should fold against the stout Patriots defense.
