Wyoming at Boise State Odds, ATS Pick & Prediction

A big Mountain West showdown is on the schedule Saturday night as the Wyoming Cowboys visit Idaho to take on the #22 Boise State Broncos. Wyoming can tie Boise, and Air Force, atop the Mountain West – Mountain division with a win, while Boise State needs to win out if they want to get to a New Year’s Six Bowl.

Wyoming is currently 6-2, 3-1 in Mountain West play, and are firmly in the thick of the division race. The Cowboys only trail 4-0 Boise and 4-1 Air Force, but will be even with both if the Cowboys pull the upset Saturday. Wyoming will be going bowling for the first time since 2017. Boise State are currently the third ranked non Power five team, but are right behind the other two as they only trail #20 Cincinnati and #21 Memphis. Boise will be bowling for the 18th consecutive season.

Below is my pick for Wyoming at #22 Boise State. All lines are from the PointsBet.

Wyoming Cowboys at #22 Boise State Broncos (-14): O/U 48 points (-110/-110)

The Wyoming Cowboys had a bye last week, but will be heading to Boise with plenty of confidence after taking out Nevada 31-3 two weeks ago. The Cowboys got out to a 24-3 first half lead and cruised in the second half to head into their bye week on a two game winning streak. Wyoming has now won three of four games and are right in the thick of things in the Mountain West – Mountain division. Saturday will be Wyoming’s first game against a ranked team this season. The Cowboys are 5-3 against the spread and the under has hit in five of their eight games in 2019.

#22 Boise State bounced back from their first loss of the season with an exciting 52-42 win over San Jose State last week. The win keeps Boise State alive for a New Year’s Six Bowl thanks to a few teams ahead of them losing last weekend. Boise started 2019 with six straight wins, including wins at Florida State and home against Air Force, but ended up falling at BYU 28-25 a few weeks back. The Broncos are 5-3 against the spread and the over has hit in five of their eight games this season.

Series History: Boise State has won the last two meetings in this series and currently lead the all-time series 12-1.

Game Prediction: Boise dominated the Cowboys and I do not see that ending Saturday night, so back the Broncos -14.
