UTSA vs MTSU Betting Preview
A fantastic Conference USA battle is set for Friday night when the UTSA Roadrunners (2-2, 0-0 in CUSA) visit the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (3-1, 0-0). Both teams will be happy with their non-conference schedule, but not many non-Power Five schools will be happier than Middle Tennessee. This game will air live on CBS Sports Network.

UTSA vs MTSU Prediction
Last time out, UTSA bounced back from their loss to Texas with a 52-24 win over Texas Southern. It was a tight first half that saw the Roadrunners lead 14-7 after the first quarter and just 21-17 at the half. The Roadrunners defense woke up in the second half and the offense put up 31 points to blowout the Tigers. Two UTSA passers combined to go 23/34 for 441 yards, five touchdowns, zero interceptions, and added 31 yards and one touchdown on the ground. De’Corian Clark went off with nine receptions for 217 yards, a 24.1 average, and three touchdowns in the win. Defensively, UTSA allowed 464 total yards and forced two Texas Southern interceptions.
Middle Tennessee pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season as they went into Miami and left with a 45-31 win. The Blue Raiders jumped out to a 10-0 lead and led 17-3 after a dominant first quarter. MTSU maintained a 24-10 lead at the half and were able to answer every Hurricanes comeback attempt in the second half. Chase Cunningham went 16/25 for 408 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and added one touchdown on the ground. DJ England-Chisolm made the most of his two receptions as he totaled 169 yards, an 84.5 average, and two touchdowns in the win. Defensively, MTSU allowed 367 total yards and forced three Miami turnovers, two interceptions and one recovered fumble.
