New Mexico vs UNLV Betting Preview
A Mountain West Conference battle is set for Friday night when the New Mexico Lobos (2-2, 0-1 in MWC) visit the UNLV Rebels (3-1, 1-0). BetMGM set the opening line as UNLV -16 with a total of 45.5. Both teams will be happy with the non-conference portion of their schedule and will look to continue the momentum in Mountain West play. This game will air live on CBS Sports Network.

New Mexico vs UNLV Prediction
Last time out, New Mexico visited Baton Rouge and were demolished, losing 38-0 at LSU. This was total domination by LSU as they scored in every quarter and did not allow the New Mexico offense to sniff the end zone. Miles Kendrick went 5/7 for 47 yards in the loss. New Mexico ran the ball 26 times for just 41 yards, a 1.6 average, in what was an all-around pathetic offensive performance. Defensively, the Lobos allowed 663 total yards and recovered one LSU fumble.
UNLV got their conference slate started with a nice 34-24 road win over Utah State. The Aggies took an early 7-0 lead, but it was all UNLV after that as the Rebels scored the next 24 points and led 27-16 at the half. UNLV extended their lead to 34-16 entering the fourth quarter before giving up a consolation touchdown with just over six minutes left in the game. Doug Brumfield went 21/31 for 217 yards, one touchdown, zero interceptions, and added two touchdowns on the ground in the win. Aidan Robbins added had one rushing touchdown and Kyle Williams hauled in the lone reception touchdown for UNLV. Defensively, the Rebels allowed 421 total yards and forced six (!) Utah State turnovers, five (!) interceptions and one recovered fumble.
Series History: UNLV won the meeting last season to take a 13-12 all-time series lead.
Pick:Â UNLV has been a pleasant surprise this season and I think The Strip stays on fire with a big UNLV win Friday night. For more picks & tip stop by our College football betting section here.
