Texas A&M at LSU Odds, Pick & Betting Prediction 11/30/19

The 58th meeting between the Texas A&M Aggies and the #2 LSU Tigers is set for Saturday as the Tigers look to get one more tune-up in before the SEC Championship game against #4 Georgia. LSU is playing to remain the top seed in the College Football Playoffs while the Texas A&M will look to try to upset the #1 team in the country in their third attempt this season.

Texas A&M enter play at 7-4 overall, 4-3 in the SEC play, and are looking to get their first ranked win of the season as they are currently 0-4 in 2019. If the Aggies win out they will have consecutive nine win seasons for the first time since the 2012-2013 season. The Aggies will be bowling for the 11th straight season.

LSU enters play at 11-0 overall, 7-0 in the SEC, and are looking to finish out a perfect 2019 regular season. The Tigers have been dominant all season and are just two wins away from entering the College Football Playoffs as one of the top two seeds. A win Saturday will see the Tigers achieve their first 12 win season since the 2007 season and it is their second consecutive season with double digit wins.

Below is my pick for the Texas A&M Aggies at the #2 LSU Tigers. All lines are from the William Hill Sportsbook.

Texas A&M Aggies at #2 LSU Tigers (-17): O/U 62.5 points (-110/-110)

The Texas A&M Aggies come into this game on the heels of a 19-13 loss at then #4 Georgia last week. The score is much closer than the game felt as the Bulldogs led 19-6 early in the fourth quarter and the defense really dominated the Aggies all game. Texas A&M is 0-4 against ranked teams this season and are 0-2 against the #1 ranked team in the country. The Aggies fell 24-10 at then #1 Clemson, then fell at home to then #8 Auburn, 28-20, followed that up with a 47-28 home loss to then #1 Alabama and most recently suffered that six point loss to Georgia. Texas A&M is 7-4 against the spread and the under has hit in six of their 11 games this season.

While most of the SEC team’s scheduled FCS cupcakes last week the LSU Tigers had a SEC cupcake as they got to beat up on the lowly Arkansas Razorbacks. This game was 56-6 LSU early in the fourth quarter as the Tigers were able to rest a few players as they prepare for the SEC Championship game next week. The Tigers have now won seven of their 11 games this season by double figures. LSU is 6-4-1 against the spread and the over has hit in seven of their 10 games with a total this season.

Series History: Texas A&M was able to come out with an epic 74-72, seven overtime game, but it is LSU who leads the all-time series 33-21-3.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICK: I don’t see LSU slowing down so I am backing the Tigers -17 Saturday night.
