The Pac-12 has one of the games of the week as the 7th ranked Oregon Ducks (7-1, 5-0) travel to Los Angeles to take on the USC Trojans (5-3, 4-1) in a game with both Pac-12 Championship and College Football Playoff implications.
Oregon have essentially wrapped up the Pac-12 North as the Ducks are 5-0 and have a three game lead over Stanford with just four games to go. It would be an all-time collapse by Oregon if they do not make the championship game, but at this point the Ducks have their eyes on an outside shot at the College Football Playoffs. In the Pac-12 South USC is on top at 4-1 and lead Utah due to a head-to-head win over the Utes.
Below is my pick for #7 Oregon at USC. All lines are from the DraftKings Sportsbook.
#7 Oregon Ducks (-4.5) at USC Trojans: O/U 62 points (-110/-110)
The #7 Oregon Ducks extended their win streak to seven games with a tight 37-35 win over Washington State last weekend. The Ducks were on the brink of defeat, but a 26 yard field goal from Camden Lewis gave Oregon the win and kept the College Football Playoff hopes alive. Oregon were dominating weaker opponents all season, but the last two weeks have needed two fourth quarter comebacks to get the win and extend their win streak. Oregon is 4-4 ATS and the under has hit in five of their eight games this season.
The USC Trojans extended their winning streak to two games after squeaking by the Colorado Buffaloes last weekend 35-31. USC has played four ranked teams this season and have a 2-2 record as the Trojans were able to beat then #23 Stanford and then #10 Utah, but fell to then #17 Washington and then #9 Notre Dame. USC is 4-4 ATS and the under has hit in five of their eight games this season.
Series History: USC leads the all-time series 38-20-2 after winning the last meeting in 2016.
Game Prediction: I like Oregon to leave California with another win under their belt. Back the Ducks at -4.5 Saturday night.
YTD College Football Results: 26-23
