Florida vs Texas A&M Odds, Pick & Prediction – 10/10/20

A fun SEC showdown gets Saturday, October 10, 2020 started when the #4 Florida Gators (2-0, 2-0) visit the #21 Texas A&M Aggies (1-1, 1-1). Florida has been one of the most impressive teams in the country, while Texas A&M has had a very poor start to the year. This game will air live on ESPN at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Through two games, the Florida offense is averaging 44.5 points per game and 495.0 yards per game, 357.0 through the air and 138.0 on the ground. Florida must be worries about their defense as they are allowing 29.5 points and 471.0 yards, 327.5 passing and 143.5 rushing.

The Texas A&M offense is still in the offseason as they are averaging just 21.5 points per game and 411.0 yards per game, 262.0 passing and 149.0 rushing. Defensively, the Aggies are allowing 32.0 points and 399.5 yards, 292.5 passing and 107.0 rushing.

Below is my pick for the #4 Florida Gators at the #21 Texas A&M Aggies. All odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook.

Game Odds: #4 Florida Gators (-6.5) at #21 Texas A&M Aggies: O/U 57.5 (-110/-110)

Last weekend, Florida hosted the South Carolina Gamecocks and cruised to a 38-24 victory. The game was tied at 14 midway through the second quarter, but Florida reeled off 24 unanswered points to put this game out of reach midway through the third quarter. Quarterback Kyle Trask continues to impress as he went 21-29 for 268 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Wide receiver Kadarius Toney hauled in six balls for 86 yards and one touchdown, and tight end Kyle Pitts added 57 yards and two more touchdowns. It has been an impressive start to 2020 for the Gators.

Texas A&M had a bit of a different weekend than Florida as the Aggies traveled to #2 Alabama and lost 52-24. The Aggies kept it close for a bit, as it was tied at 14 early in the second quarter, but Alabama reeled off 21 unanswered points to put this game to bed by halftime. Quarterback Mac Jones impressed again as he went 20-27 for 435 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Wide receivers John Metchie III and Jaylen Waddle went off for ‘Bama as Metchie had 181 yards and two touchdowns and Waddle added 142 yards and another touchdown.
