Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys will conclude the Sunday slate of action for Week 6 on SNF. While the game may not be a truly high scoring affair, but it certainly pits two winning teams against one another.
Admit it, when thinking of the top teams and divisions in football leading into this season, the NFC East was not not high on your list. Now, the Eagles are undefeated and the Cowboys are tied with the Giants at 4-1! Only one other team in the entire NFC is 4-1. The body of work is impressive from both teams so far, and this is a huge game in the division already.
The Eagles are set as 6.5 point favorites at home. The Eagles have certainly had the more explosive offense of the two teams. The dual threat combo skill set of Jalen Hurts has come together nicely. The Eagles have been sound on defense, but the offense has been the better side of the ball. The opposite holds true for the Cowboys. Their defense has been quite stout while its the offense that has been closer to the serviceable side of things. This makes for a fun matchup on both sides of the ball.
We will have you covered for player props on all of the prime time games this season.
Ceedee Lamb Player Prop
Ceedee Lamb had a rough Week 1 with Dak Prescott, catching just 2 of 11 targets in that poor showing by Dallas. Of course Dak got hurt in that game and will not return until next week. Since then Cooper Rush has performed admirably as a backup. He has continued to pepper Lamb with volume, and Lamb has been productive.
Lamb has seen at least eight targets in every game this season. In games with Rush he averages 9.7 targets that translate to 6.5 catches for 78 yards and 0.5 touchdowns. We also saw a heavier target load for Lamb in the games decided by one score, as opposed to the wins by multiple scores. Lamb saw 23 targets and averaged 81 yards in the pair of one score wins. In the pair of more comfortable wins, he saw 16 targets and averaged 75 yards.
This game sets up as a closer game and sportsbooks properly expect the Cowboys to be the team to be trailing. That means we will see the high end of the volume spectrum for Lamb. We could even see a new season high in targets. This is the reason his yardage prop of 59.5 yards is quite puzzling. The low figure can perhaps be blamed on him missing practice Friday, but all reports are that he is expected to play. Take the over 59.5 yards for Lamb as he remains the Cowboys top option.
