Falcons vs Dolphins Betting Pick
This game will be played at Hard Rock Stadium at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Why Bet The Dolphins:
✅ These teams are relatively even in terms of their per play averages on offense and defense, with the Falcons having a slight edge in both areas. But the Falcons have played a softer schedule, facing three NFC East teams and the Jets already this year, and the Dolphins should provide a tougher challenge for Atlanta.
✅ Tua Tagovailoa played well for stretches last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and has looked solid since coming back from a rib injury. Miami has been better on offense with him than they were with Jacoby Brissett, and the Dolphins should prosper in his first full home game with Tua at the helm this season.

✅ Atlanta’s only wins this season have come against the Giants and the Jets, two of the worst teams in the NFL. While Miami’s record is similar to that of the Giants and Jets, Miami has more talent and should be able to use it to their advantage to keep the Falcons down this week.
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are coming off of their bye week after they beat the New York Jets in London the week before. Atlanta got out to a huge lead in that game and was able to hold on in the end despite letting Zach Wilson put up some points late in that game. The Falcons have not played a home game since Week 4, as their run of weeks away from home will continue in Week 7 against the Dolphins.
For the Falcons, consistency on both sides of the ball is always the issue. They have scored 27 or more in each of their last two games, but lost one of those games 34-30 after being unable to stop the Washington Football Team. This week, against a capable quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa, the Falcons’ defense will need to lock in after Miami’s offense showed signs of life last week against Jacksonville.
Miami Dolphins
After winning their Week 1 game against the New England Patriots, the Miami Dolphins have lost five straight games. Their latest loss came in London, as they fell on a last-second field goal against the Jacksonville Jaguars. But there were some positives to be taken from that game, as Tua Tagovailoa performed well despite the fact that the Dolphins did not come away with the win.
Tagovailoa completed 33 passes in that game for 329 yards and two touchdowns. He connected well with Mike Gesicki especially, who had eight grabs for 115 yards in the losing effort. Miami will need more of that connection this week, against a Falcons team that is comfortable playing in high-scoring shootouts if need be.
